Finished my first novel!!

I'm so happy to say that on the 22nd, I finished my first novel. It's only 87 pages long and obviously just the first draft, but it's the furthest I've ever gotten on a story!!! I'm so excited, so just thought you ought to know...(now if only HalfBloodPrince would get back on here soon so I can tell him - we've had this ongoing battle of not finishing stories we begin, so...:p)
 
Are you referring to writings you've posted here, or something done elsewhere? My asking this question reveals that I simply do not have time to read as much of fellow members' fiction as I would like to do.
 
That's great!! I'm really happy for you... I've never gotten close to finishing a novel, but it's kinda a goal for me... anyway, congratulations, and I hope I can read your story someday. :D
 
COngrats! Thats soo cool! I never finish most of my stories either. The one I'm working on now shall be the first of many.
 
That's great. It feels awesome to finish your first novel...it's like, you've finally proved to yourself that you can do it. When i finished my first i realized that meant I could write more.

Yay for you!
 
It's - shock! - not a fantasy novel. It's fiction, set in Maryland/Virginia. I'm working on the sequel's first draft whilst I wait for my friend Jack to finish editing the first draft of the original.
 
That's great! Congratulations!
I never get anywhere near finishing my novels. But the one I'm currently working on I have to finish. Every time I stop writing Levi, Tess or Nicki bite my head off. :p

hahah!!!! I've written 102 pages:p
 
The biggest novel I've ever written was only 27 pages xD But it was such a great feeling, because I knew I'd made the entire story and characters up by myself. I wouldn't let ANYONE read it though, because most of the time I hate people reading my stuff, and I knew I could do better anyway.

Could I please read this fantastic novel of yours please, QSoN? -bats eyelashes-

Well, now I'm in the 2nd draft phase, because my buddy Jack just finished editing it for me...possibly in a bit, maybe, but I promised my friend Conrad he could read it first. :rolleyes:
 
congrats, love!!!! *claps on back* I have high ambitions like finishing ONE of my stories someday, but who knows if that'll ever happen!! :p
