[Mrs Gil-Galad Took]

My favorite Elf Gil-Galad. I want to dedicate a post to him

Gil-Galad last high elven king
Strong and wise through the years
A life alone with his Noldorian family
A life hard and tough but worth to live

During those years o suffering and fighting
He stood strong and proud besides his men
Never hestitate to help where he could
Always aware of what was going on beside him

His Spear Aiglos (Aeglos)was feared by his enemies
For it would freeze you when it touched you
Gil-Galad hated fights
But he knew it was unavoidable

After years of living in what they thought was peace
Sauron came in disguise to seduce the Elfs
But Gil-Galad never trusted him
He knew evil was hiding inside of the once so great Valar
Sauron knew he couldn't gain Gil-Galad's trust

Gil-Galad bearer of the Ring Vilya
Formed a last Alliance with King Elendil
To try to defeat Sauron one more time
Before the world would fall forever

During that fight, many hope was lost
When dawn arrived Sauron was defeated but not destroyed
Gil-Galad the son of Orodreth was no longer alive
He died during that fight, but his legend will live on

Gil-Galad was my favorite character in the movies! Too bad he had to die! I liked how his armor was described in the books, but it sounded so much like Earendil's armor!
