Gloria's life

There was a twelve-year-old girl named Gloria; she was a wild one. One day as she was getting ready to go to school, her mother told her, "I need to work late tonight."

This made Gloria sad. You see, her mother never was home, and her dad was long gone. Gloria really didn't know what had happened to him; all she knew was that he was gone. This morning, after the bad news from her mother, she sighed loudly, and started to walk to her school where all her friends were.

Gloria was glad she had them. They were the best of friends. There was Joe, the tallest one of them. Sam was the prettiest and smartest; she knew more than Gloria did. Oh, and her best best friend in the whole wide world was named Jeremy Mercer. He had a great smile and short black hair and green eyes. If you think of it, you'll figure out that she had a crush on that boy.

Gloria and the others took their seats, and took out what they needed for the first-period class.
