I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge, that myth is more potent than history. I believe that dreams are more powerful than facts, that hope always triumphs over experience, that laughter is the only cure for grief. And I believe that love is stronger than death.

--From the movie The Crow

The little girl wondered why she didn't hurt anymore. Something horrible had happened, there had been pain and then... nothing. She felt something pulling at her, drawing her away. Reluctantly she let herself fall towards to the call.

As she opened her eyes and tried to take stock, her centre of gravity was thrown off. Staggering and looking down at herself she realised that where once had a child's body been, a ladies body now was. A wave of embarrassment went over her as she discovered that not only did she now have cleavage more generous than she was comfortable with, but whoever had sent her to this place had given her Rapunzel type hair instead of her familiar short locks.

(Like The Crow, this is a crime victim being sent back from Heaven to our world, The differences are that it some years after the crime but not set in 2016)
(the reason for her new adult body being given generous cleavage and long hair will be expanded upon. In-story, the angels behind this have a reason for the character to be physically a lot more girly).

The Brandon Lee movie was about much more than revenge. Eric Draven's father-like love for the little girl Sarah was the true emotional anchor of the script. I hope that your story also has more to it than revenge.
