Hello!

Greetings in the Name of the Lion! Sorry I didn't notice you sooner!

One of the most important things to understand about the Chronicles is that they CONTAIN COMPARISONS, but they are not AN ALLEGORY. Aslan is NOT a symbol of a metaphor of a hint of an analogy of a fable of someone who kind of resembles Jesus Christ. If you write an allegory, as a rule you don't have people from OUTSIDE the allegory wander INTO it from the regular world.

Aslan is supposed to BE the actual historical Yeshua Messiah, ASSUMING the form of a lion, in order to initiate adventures in an alternate world. If you have never yet read any of Mister Lewis' NON-fiction, I urge you to read his autobiography, Surprised By Joy; it will shed light upon how he came to write the Chronicles and also the Space Trilogy.
