How Would The Pevensie's Know Who Aslan Is In Our World?

At the end of VOTDT Aslan tells Edmund and Lucy in our world he is known by another name and they must learn to know him by that name. I know those aren't the exact words but I was wondering how will they be able to find out that Aslan is Jesus and learn about Christianity since they only know Aslan? I assumed in our world at some point at least Edmund and Lucy and possibly Eustance became Christians while they lived in our world if they discovered Aslan's "other name".

I apologize for making so many threads but after re-reading the books and watching the movies many times I had a list of questions---sorry if some of them seem pointless or obvious. As you guys know I am new to the religious elements and some of the references I may not always understand.

I'm currently reading The Way Into Narnia By: Peter J. Schakel, which I bought from amazon and that has filled in some gaps for me. The book is very beautifully written and very informative at least for me. I did some research about Narnia related books and found quite a long list of books I'm interested in reading. Amazon has become my friend recently. :D I don't have a credit card even though I'm 31 so I frequently buy amazon gift cards.

The Wisdom of Narnia is also a great book, although rather short it's a great read.

I also got the companion guide to Narnia, which I haven't finished. I sort of lost interest but maybe I'll go back to it sometime. I've ordered: The Keys To The Chronicles Unlocking The Symbols of C.S. Lewis's Narnia, Into The Wardrobe C.S. Lewis and The Narnia Chronicles which has a beautiful cover of Lucy and Mr. Tumnus (the art isn't from the book but it's still beautiful), I've recently received my order of Narnia Unlocking The Wardrobe and I ordered Knowing Aslan for my kindle since the kindle price was much cheaper this time than the actual book. For the other books it's been the other way around. My only worry is that each book will be basically too similar from one another. I read the reviews and synopsis and they sounded a little different so here's hoping...

Sorry to get off topic. I'm trying to avoid tons more threads.

And, it is reasonable to assume, that Peter and Susan also became Christians in our world. All of what Aslan told the Pevensies, which may also have been told by Him to Eustace and Jill, is not revealed in the books. Indeed, only a very small portion is. Aslan almost certainly gave them a few clues, or dropped some hints regarding what they should look for. I also think it plausible, although this is just my opinion that Digory and Polly may have visited Narnia after their initial adventures, at which time they may have been given similar help. There is nothing to suggest they did, but neither is there anything to suggest they didn't!

Thanks. :) I could see Peter becoming a Christian but not Susan because Peter stated in The Last Battle that Susan is no longer a friend of narnia because she basically grew up in a sense, even though she had aged and grown in that way. She moved on from Narnia basically. I mean, she could have been Christian for a bit before she gave up on Narnia.

I recall reading somewhere once that someone wrote to Lewis to ask him who Aslan was in our world. Lewis wrote back and asked, who in our world died in someone else's place and came back to life, and created the world, and was the son of the great 'Emperor', and other things like that. It's obvious he's talking about Jesus.

I imagine Edmund and Lucy and the others would have made the same kinds of connections. Jesus says in John 5 and 6 that those who truly seek the Father will find Jesus. If Aslan and Jesus are the same, I would think in the same way that any person who truly wanted to follow Aslan, on finding themselves in our world, would find themselves compelled to follow Jesus, and in doing so would come to realise that Aslan is Jesus in the Narnian world, and Jesus is Aslan in our world.

Beyond of course, Aslan being Jesus. The Pevensies would have been around in 40s-50s Britain, a Christian culture-at least officially. So it would not have been too difficult to make the connection. At least, I don't think it would have been.

Mister Lewis did not say much about the Blessed Trinity in his fiction, but he knew that there IS a Trinity. And the Holy Spirit, the Third Person of the Trinity, would have ensured that the Pevensies understood Aslan WAS Jesus in a different exterior form.
