It wasn't there!!!!

I wonder how many people saw this, or if it was just my theater. So, I took my dad to see Toy Story 3 on Friday, and we were both anticipating watching the VODT trailer. The trailers started playing and they were in 3-d, so we thought that the trailer for VODT would be in 3-d as well. We waited with excitement but... IT WASN'T THERE! I was a bit disappointed, okay... a lot disappointed. I was thinking that the VODT trailer was going to be there, and in 3-d! But it wasn't! Was it just my theater, or was it like that for everyone else too?

Some theaters do it differently, even though the trailer is attached to Toy Story 3, not all showings of it feature the trailer.

Eep.. That's horrible! I'm deffinately triple checking to see if my theater has it now.. But it seems silly to call the theater... "Yes, Hello... Are you guys playing the new Narnia trailer before Toy Story 3? Yes? Is it in 3d? Oh good. Thank you, good bye."
Haha, and that's the best of outcomes... =D. Sorry that you didn't get to see it, though. Strange that they didn't have it... I wonder why...?

Machia and fish went to see it and they saw the Narnia commercial, so yeah, it was apparently your theater being annoying

I would hate it if that happened to me. I would probably pull a Eustace Scrub and "lodge a disposition" at the nearest British Consul... er... movie office! and demand I get my money back!!:D

Why would you do that? You don't even like the trailer!

And what's a disposition... and how do you lodge it?

"That's horrible! I'm deffinately triple checking to see if my theater has it now.. But it seems silly to call the theater"

ndfan, it's not too silly to call the theatre. Remember, the trailer for Star Wars Ep. 1 was one of the most highly anticipated trailers of all time. People actually went to the theatres, bought a ticket to see the trailer, and then left before the main feature was shown.

However, don't expect the cahsiers to know that information.

They'd better at least play the trailer at TinselTown! and hopefully in the little theater near where I live too! (not sure which we'll go to when we ahem go to see the trailer... the movie is just a bonus. xD)

I saw the VDT trailer when I went to see Toy Story 3. But I went to a 2-D showing. I am to old to be wearing those goofy glasses.

Tuesday night is movie night for me, and a goal for this upcoming Tuesday is to see the VoDT trailer.. What are the shows that people here have seen, that have featured the VoDT trailer? 2D strongly preferred.

Toy Story 3 earlier tonight in 2D. The trailer played first for us, but there was a glitch with the projector, so we lost a second or two when it restarted again. Glad I already watched it on the internet before tonight. :D

Why would you do that? You don't even like the trailer!

And what's a disposition... and how do you lodge it?

haha, good one! And just for correction, I don't like it that they added Caspian to the little boat at the end of the world. Some parts are accurate, others are ok.

And I meant I would lodge a disposition IF the thing I wanted to see wasn't there.
