Yes, she wrote quite a few full novels, and also some shorter things and I think maybe an unfinished novel? Anyhow, the six novels (all romances) are: Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility, Emma, Mansfield Park, Persuasion, and Northanger Abbey. I've read all but Mansfield Park. Which version of the movie did you see? Like I said, the 5 hr BBC version (was a TV miniseries) is about 10,000 times better than the new one with Keira Knightley. It was SO close to the book, well cast and well done. Of course the book is still better, but it is about as close to the book and as well done as any movie of a book can be, I think...
Sense and Sensibility is about two sisters - one is the "sensible" type (sense), who is pretty careful about giving her heart away. The other is the romantic, emotional type (sensibility). The book is about how each learns some of the other way's wisdom, and falls in love etc...great book.
