The dragon let out a roar that shook the cave, sending rocks tumbling towards the young girl, no older than 9 years old. Her screams were lost in the sea of chaos that emanated from the cave. She tried to run but her dress caught. She yanked it free ignoring the tearing sound. suddenly a massive sound, even louder then the dragons roar, sounded from above the girl. She looked up and saw the cave ceiling breaking apart. She made one last desperate leap for the opening, striving to make it far enough to avoid the tumbling rocks. She knew this was her last chance to escape alive. Make it the girl thought For once in your life you have to make it. As she leaped she could hear the screams of the dragon behind her and- someone else's scream as well. She strained to hear the sound, twisted around and ,with a crash, fell onto the rocky ground. The rocks falling only inches away from her. "Selina!" The girl cried but it was no use. She buried her face in her sleeve and sobbed.
Knock Knock. A Red-headed girl about 13 years old stood up from the computer. With a vicious swipe she wiped her eyes and opened her door.
"What?" She asked in an irritated voice.
"So sorry to interrupt." Replied an older, raven haired girl with a grin. "But Mom says it's time for lunch."
"Tell her I can't eat right now. I'm in the middle of my 13th chapter of my new novel I'm writing."
"Which one?" The dark haired girl asked
"I told you, my new one."
"You start a new one every day."
The younger girl pushed a lock of red hair behind her ear. "It's the one about the two sisters Lily and Selina." She replied
"Have they gotten out of the cave yet?"
"Lily just did."
"And Selina-?"
"Didn't."
"What!?!? You mean you killed her off? But she was the best character!"
"Lily needed to be more independent." The red head grinned. "Besides I'm partial to younger sisters." With that she closed the door, turned back to her computer and sat down. She stared at the keyboard puzzling out how to put her wonderful epic into words that everyone could enjoy. Then she started to type again.

This is a little thing I was writing about my writing. That's all.
