Ooc: As Alanna, I can start... just let me know if I need to start in a different spot! What time is this exactly? Like after she gets her shield? After the Dominion Jewel or somewhere in between?

Alanna took and deep breath and slowly let the air escape. The sword she held in front of her didn't move in the slightest as she stood there. Suddenly, her violet eyes snapped open and filled with a fire. She began a pattern with the sword, doing every combination possible and taking up the entire practice court. Sweat was beginning to form on her brow and she quickly wiped it away with her sleeve, not daring to take her eyes away from her imaginary opponent.

Ooc: THis is the first time I have ever posted in purple...

Coram smiled at her. He had taught her well when she was a kid, and now she was the first woman knight in a century. A flicker of pride showed in his smile.

"Nice tecnique lassie," he said to her, catching a little off guard, "have time for yer ol' teacher?" He said as he walked up to Alanna.

Alanna turned and slowly let the sword rest, point going into the floor. "Of course I have time for you!" she said smiling at the older man. "What can I do for you?" she asked him, wondering what Coram had up his sleeve.

Alanna smiled at Coram. "You're always taking care of me," she said, shaking her head. "You do know I've grown up now..." she pointed out, wiping her still sweat covered brow and resheathing her sword. Her heart sunk slightly when she heard George's name. "I haven't seen him recently," she said, her voice slightly forelorn.

"Oh..." he figured that was a sore subject, "well I'm sure he's...being...whatever he is. And yes I've realized you're grown, quit reminding me."

Alanna laughed and stepped down off the courts. "Yes, but not taller, unfortunately," she said, frowning slightly at his height. "And you're not that old... come on, let's get some lunch," she said, putting an arm around his shoulders.
