I saw all 3 LOTR movies in cinema, and LWW. But I'm not a big HP fan at all.

Yeah, I agree. I saw both LotR 3 and LWW in the cinema just once, but I think that LWW impressed me more in the cinema. RotK was expectable and you already how they film, which characters are important, etc. So in the cinema I enjoyed LWW more. But if you ask me to chose between both...

i saw lotr 3 and lww twince in the theater. i enjoyed lotr 3 more i was kind of dissapointed in lww. i did not see any of the harry potters in the theater. though i would have liked to.my parents just recentlly started letting me watch them.

it is mine to give to whom i wish, like my heart.lotr

Goblet of Fire

The movie I've seen the most times is definitely the Goblet of Fire.

The movie I enjoyed most was GoF as well.

The reason I liked this movie so much is because it reminds me of the past, of the movies that came out and the actors that played in them. The characters in it are almost like a part of me, so I savored every moment of the fourth installment, and was sad when it was over. I also thought the sequences were great, especially the graveyard scene and the tasks, and even the shots they got of the Durmstrang ship during different parts of the year.

Well... if it's about where I saw the movie in the Cinema and liked it the most, it HAS to be HP 4, because I haven't seen the other ones in the movie theater. :/
But my current favour is LLW. DUH.

No, I will disagree.

I saw each of the LOTR movies in the cinema twice, and I saw Narnia in the cinema twice, and I never saw GoF until it came out on DVD. I did want to see it in the cinema, but I was out of town when it first came out, and then LWW came out, and I just didn't get there. I heard it was WONDERFUL on the towering Imax screen, and would like to have seen that.

Anyway, my favorite was LWW, and I have watched it twice more on DVD. (I watched all the LOTR's once or twice at least on DVD, too).

I like HP movies, but HP books are much better. I do wish I had seen GoF on the big screen because on DVD, it was not as fun, nor I am sure, impressive.

Film I saw most in theaters
1. LOTR
2. LWW
3. HP

most enjoyed
1. LOTR
2. LWW
3. HP

LOTR was just so amazing. As a huge fan of the books, I thought that Peter Jackson did an amazing job in holding true to the books while having to fit the story into the world a film. Andrew Adamson accomplished this same feat in LWW, but unfortunately, the book LWW is not as complex as LOTR. The complexity of uniting the five storylines that run through LOTR is what made it my all time favorite movie. However, LWW was also so amazingly awesome that it is very, very close second.

As for HP, I personally feel that the movies have slowly gone downhill. Not to say that they are not good movies, but they do not hold that true to the books. I know that things have to be left out, but I think that there are certain scenes that should have been included. All in all, they just don't hold up to my mental picture of them.

Film I saw most in cinema...
1. LWW 1x
2 and 3 tie - LOTR 0x

One I like best... LWW hands down! Although I do enjoy the LOTR books and I have warched all three of them on DVD. I don't care for HP at all so didn't even bother.

I never watched LoTR, never read the books either, am still trying to snag an English version of it. I did watch the first half of the first LoTR film and sadly, I fell asleep in the middle of it.

The Harry Potter films, I loved the first three but couldn't get into GoF. I didn't like the music, and the setting was in a monastery and not a castle, so that felt really off for me. I would have preferred them to have used CGI and accomplished the 'real effect' of the Harry Potter Universe than to use a monastery cloister to achieve that aim. It's just me, though, and the fact that last year was spent visiting monasteries and doing research on them for my book. I saw HP 1 1/2 times in the cinema. (The English soundtrack wasn't working right when we went to watch it at the cinema here and so we had to leave halfway through it.)

I saw LWW twice in the cinema, once with my husband and once alone. I loved it the most and have watched it countless times since. It's my favorite.

I think with LOTR, if you read the books first and loved them (you would onlly read all three if you loved them, I think) then you like the movies, because they sort of jumped off the pages and became their own story, different from the books, but still fabulous. But if you see the fabulous movies first, then start the long journey through reading LOTR, it seems like rough going, because there is so much more to the books than even what PJ could cram into 10 or 12 hours of film, ever how long the trilogy was.

Here is how many times I saw each movie in theatres:

RotK: 3 or 4 times, can't remember.
LWW: 2 times
GoF: 1 time

RotK: Loved it the most, as I am a crazy LotR fanatic. Beware. :p
LWW: Loved it the second most; it was very well done and funnily enough, my mom was always talking about wanting the Chronicles of Narnia to be re-made. I was very happy to tell her the news!
GoF: Comes very close to LWW; it was also really great! :)

1. I only saw ROTK at the theatre, twice.

2. I enjoyed BOTH LWW and ROTK equally, for very different reasons.

3. ROTK was part of the trilogy, and I'm a Tolkien fan, and I'm also a CS Lewis fan. ROTK was far more violent, however, and had more frightening images. I liked Narnia for the action, the drama, AND the reason that it's a movie children can safely enjoy with their parents. I wouldn't take anyone under the age of 13 to see ROTK, and I saw FAR TOO MANY little children in the theatre who were screaming or crying at the violent scenes.

1) Only LWW-I never saw LOTR in theaters

2) Well, seeing LOTR for the first time at home had its thrills. Seeing ROTK was an experience I will never forget, but LWW beat it definitely. The hype surrounding both films was very amazing. LWW was still the best film I've ever seen in theaters.

3) Oops, I explained it above.

1) Which film did you go to see at the cinema the most times?
1 GoF
2 LLW
= RotK

2) Which did you enjoy the most?
1 LWW
= GoF
3 RotK

I love all three movies, though. :)
