Has anyone ever done a play of LWW??? I did one last summer...was lots of fun :)

I did one at school when I was 8 or 9. I remember who played the White Witch and Mr. Tumnus but I can't remember who I played!!! The class watched the old film of LWW at school but I was away that day. When I got back, someone lent me the video to catch up with the story but instead I read the book in one day - it was so much better (but I knew what was going to happen when everyone else didn't)!

The deaf division at the school where I work at did it. They, of course, performed all the dialogue in sign language. But we didn't take the blind students because there would be only one interpreter voicing for every character on stage, which would have made it hard for them to determine exactly who was "speaking". It turned out very well though and I think the hearing and deaf community members that came thoroughly enjoyed it.

I actually just finished performing LWW at my uni. I was Susan. It was great fun, and of course I miss it. We did ten performances in all, not counting the open dress rehearsal.

That is so cool!

I haven't but I would love to. I love the story! Me and my friend were talking about this a few weeks ago. She said "If our school or something here was making a play for Narnia, you know we would both be down there auditioning." And I was like, "well yeah!" I think it would be great fun!

Our church drama group is actually doing the Lion the Wicth and the Wardrobe for our Christmas play this year... Our Family is pretty much in charge of it.... We've just finished auditons and casting.... (I'm going to be playing Mr. Beaver) So it should be a lot of fun... :D

Wow, that story about the school for the deaf doing one was awesome! That would have been so interesting to see.

I'm in the same play Machiathemarshwiggle is in. I get to be The White Witch. :D Playing evil parts is fun, and I get to turn Benny into stone... ;) :D
