Hope it gets soon on the iTunes store too. Can't wait to hear it, and maybe i'm going to make a 'inspired by' album or something myself too for Prince Caspian.

EDIT: Look at that, it's already online on the US store. Can't buy there anything, so i hope it comes very soon too online @ NL.

EDIT-TWO: Listening. Beautiful. Very much the same style and instruments.

EDIT-THREE (keep editing, lol): wootwootwoot, got all the tracks! Listening now!

EDIT-TOOMUCH: Some tracks sound like they are a direct copy of one of the old album. Not a big problem, because it's the same story, but some parts or even whole songs are really-really-really the same, and that dissapoints me a little bit ('arrival at aslans how mostly', or maybe only, haven't heard the whole album yet EDIT: and 'the door in the air').

EDIT: Good, music is good. First album is better in my opinion, but maybe because on the first album everything is 'new', and not things copied.

I think that's all right. It is a sequel after all.

I haven't bought the album yet (used up my monthly budget for iTunes) but I'm going to get a hard copy. The 30-second samples sound AWESOME, especially "Battle at Aslan's How," "Return of the Lion," "The Door in the Air," "The Call," and "This is Home." The other music sounds good, but the 30-second samples are at the wrong time. Narnia music tends to build gradually throughout the track.

P.S. Is it just me, or does "Prince Caspian Flees" sound like it was recorded in a tin can? It sounds so... enclosed? Metal-ish? (not the music genre) I don't know. I'm just blathering. It's not a bad track. *shuts up*

I've been listening to it in my car for quite some time now. Just so you know... the themes from the first film are there with good reason. They are the themes of the specific characters.

It makes everything more of a thru-line for the stories, and give some extra connectedness to the stories that everyone will love.
 
I couldn't get my copy today like I planned...They didn't have them out yet and I didn't have time to wait around. Now I've got to wait until Thursday! :rolleyes:
 
I got off of work early today so I was able to pick it up on my way out!

It sounds great, and I haven't even finished the entire album!

I wish they would have made another "inspired by" album and a spec. edition like they did with LWW.

The inspired by was really great, I wonder why they didn't make a 2nd one? :confused:

If they make one it will probably be after the movie comes out... I'm looking forward to it. The LWW one rocked so much :D
 
I really liked the inspired album as well. I'm not sure why they didn't do that again, this time around. I wonder if it's because of the changes in record companies or something.

Since then, Disney restructured to create Walt Disney Records. EMI CMG published the Inspired By album. Perhaps there weren't enough sales of the first to make a second album plausible?
 
Did not buy the inspired by album from the first movie, but yes, it was 'funny'. I didn't really liked the music, but together with the idea, it was still a great album.

I'm thinking of making my own inspired-by album or single. Think a single, album is really a lot of work, and i can't finish that before all the 'caspian-buzz' is over. Will be also in 'classical' or 'soundtrack' style, not like the inspired-by album we now know.

But yes, would be 'funny' if they made too one for prince caspian.
