Has anyone read Cassandra Clare's novels of brilliance, City of Bones and City of Ashes? They are the first two books of her Mortal Instruments series, and are hysterical and brilliant beyond belief. Read 'em!! :) And if you have, here we shall discuss the brilliance that be them. :)
 
Hmm. Judging by QSoN's tone, I think in this respect 'hysterical' means brilliant, super or whatever. But I could be wrong xD

I haven't heard of them, QSoN, what're they about??

Brilliant, super, and funny beyond belief. In my personal opinion, at least. :p

They're about a girl named Clary Fray who lives with her mother, who witnesses a murder whose victim is only visible to her (not to mention referred to by his murderers - who also are only visible to her and the victim - as a demon), and is suddenly launched into the world of Shadowhunters, who hunt down and kill demons.
 
these books are AMAZING, I can't WAIT for the movie to come out. They're going to be epic, if they make them right xD
Looks like this thread is pretty old, has anyone read them since then? =)
