Given that The Last Battle is about the end of Narnia, there would have to be some type of Antichrist. No, I’m not going to get into the theological aspect of it.
There might be on going debate on who parallel the Antichrist in the world of Narnia: Shift or Rishda. Well, I personally think that Rishda is a type of Antichrist, given to his suggestion for 30 of his Calormene soldiers to disguise themselves as merchants and work by lies and trickery. It might be suggesting that he has no intentions to make war with Narnia but coming in peace right up until the Battle of Stable Hill. Then Shift could be a type of Antichrist, by taking the name of Aslan and using that to get the Narnians to serve him.
