Narnia Article - NZ filming and Ben Barnes

Yes, and according to another article, Doug Gresham appears to be looking into filming the Voyage of the Dawn Treader around the island of Malta. I was there some 40 years ago when I was in the Navy and it is a beautiful place. The Apostle Paul was shipwrecked there for a time.

I have a current photo of one of the new sets currently in construction if anyone would like to upload it for everyone to see ?
It's taken with a 600mm lens from approx one mile away but shows clearly one side of a castle facade... I hope this is of interest to Narnia fans !

Just because he won`t direct VOTD dosen`t mean he won`t still have a big part in it. He said that even if he dosen`t direct the future films he`ll have something to do with it anyways.

If they use Malta for VODT, it shouldn't be hard to fly over and shoot scenes for one of the islands on Sardinia. I was _there_ when *I* was in the Navy, and Sardinia has the most fabulous mountains: not huge in height, but with an unreal, eerie look to them.
