March 21 is Narnia Day!!!!

What are you going to do? How do you plan on celebrating it?

Last year I wrote a short fanfic to for the Story Contest Celebration:

And bought new bookshelves for my Narnia Stuff:

I'm not sure what I'll do this year, but I'm thinking. So what do you think you'll do to celebrate this year?
 
I'm working on a fanfic called "Beyond the Oaken Door". That, and cooking smoked salmon.
 
WOW :eek: that's so cool, all the Narnia stuff !!!!! :eek: I wish I had all of this !!! and your movie poster is great !!

I don't know what I'm going to do on Narnia day, I don't have a lot of friends who like Narnia so ... probably going to stay home and watch the two movies

Watching the movies and making it a Narnia Night with friends is also a good idea. Sadly I don't know many immediate friends to do that. I'll have to think of something else.

I'm thinking of dressing up as Peter and run around my neighborhood with sword drawn yelling: FOR NARNIA, AND FOR ASLAN!!!!.

I just hope I can get away before the cops arrive!!:D
 
That's actually the day before I intend to meet with some fellow Narniafans :p :D

Other than that, I have a Choir dress rehearsal that night but hopefully I'll be able to do something Narniaish
 
I don't know what I'm going to do. I'll have to think. Probably wear one of my Narnia t-shirts and maybe watch one of the movies.

Does anyone know why March 21 is Narnia Day? Is there something special about that date?
 
I think it's because it falls after March 20 but before March 22!!! :D

I am not really sure. Close to St. Patrick's Day if you ask me, and CS Lewis was Irish!!!

hahaha! brilliant! Now if I could just get my sword back and get my cats to all follow me across the field....:p there are no cops where I live, they go down our road 1-2 times each year.

I'll probably watch one of the movies, or both, or start my book series about my sailing kittens in honour of Dawn Treader coming out this year.:D
 
I like your idea of going around with a sword, our police officers would love that I'm sure :D but we don't have any Narnia swords, just Sting :p
 
I know I'm a girl but I think I'll put on my caspian costume and wear that all day. I'll just take off the brigandine and wear the shirt and pants to bed too like in the film!
Also my friend micaela's coming over and we're gonna watch LWW and then probably play with figures. She would stay over but her parents don't allow sleep-overs. I'll ask her to wear ger lucy costume she wore to go see PC and I'll just think of all kinds of stuff to do that's narniaish.
I know that at night,I'm getting out the blow up bed and me and my sis will watch PC and sleep out in the living room. Also BK I would run down my street screaming that,buti live on K-10 in kansas,the BUSIEST most DANGEROUS street there is. Maybe I can climb my fence with my sword and scream that!
I'll ask my sis to take pictures and I'll post em.:D
Also,I'll read PC,LWW,And VOTD during that week.

Also zella,i was thinking maybe tey were holding march 21 because it was the first day of spring.
Wouldn't symbolize Aslan breaking the white witches 100 year winter spell?

YES IT DOES! I may not dress up during the day as a guy though. I might want to dress up as Tigerlily instead:) But hey I'm still being true to narnia even if I'm dressing up as my OWN character. We're gonna get some red vines and doctor pibb and some cupcakes and sit around doing narnia stuff.I've got a fantasy here that:
It'll rain,I'm in this AMAZING Susan costume from LWW that I'm using as Tigerlily's,my friend is in Lucy's outfit,we go climb up our big wooden fence with swords in hand screaming "FOR NARNIA!" At the top of our lungs as rain soaks us to the bone. AND...it'll be at night too!
OH GOD I WANT TO DO THIS! But I have no amazing costume and mom will tell me to get off the fence if i scream.
Oh well,I just wish i had more than one narnia friend in the flesh to come over.
My sis scorns it and will only stay for the food and LWW:(
 
Oh this sounds like fun! I have nothing planned for that Saturday, so it would be a good time to wear my Aslan shirt and enjoy watching the movies on the big living room TV for a change! =)
 
I was also thinking about making a mouse sock puppet and pretend it was Reepicheep but the darn thing might get offended and challenge me to single combat! I don't know 'bout you guys but I'll be dead going on a duel with Reep, even if he's a sock puppet!!
 
I will be in Arnhem that day and going on a total of 6 hours train trip :rolleyes:
Nope, I'm not celebrating it. I'm not into Narnia that much to do this. But I hope everybody who will celebrate it is going to have fun ;)
 
I'll celebrate like any sane, sensible talking badger. I'll walk into my Narnia wardrobe and magically find myself in Fernley, Nevada where it's always autumn and never thanksgiving.

i have a little brown mouse that looks like reepicheep i was going to use for halloween,but he's packed for the move this summer:(
