Narnia For Dummies!!!

The books are study guides to bring you up to speed. Besides the books "Narnia for Geniouses" were written by C. S. Lewis.. :D

The Dummies series is a guide to people who are handicapped when it comes to certain subjects.. like if you don't know anything about computers then you would buy "Computer for Dummies" if you don't know spanish and would like to learn the language you would purchase "Spanish for dummies"

I have Italian for Dummies :eek:
 
Because some people are Narnialy challenged.....
Some people just wont understand and it explains Narnia for them in a slow step-by-step process. :D
But, I never read it....

Did he really write such thing, or is that a joke?

Well, I have spoken to a woman who is a crazy Narnia book fan. She has read that book (Narnia for dummies) and likes it because she says it brings you farther into the world of Narnia and helps one appreciate the books more than ever. And she is in no way Narnia challenged, she caught every bit of symbolism.
 
The title is meant to poke a little fun at people's own self-depreciating humor. The book series breaks the complex topic into a series of lessons, each one of which has a cartoon sideline to help you remember the point and a series of review questions.
 
Narnia for dummies also goes into explaining a lot more than just the books. It talks about geography and timelines for both Narnia and earth. There's also quite a bit about CS Lewis and his estate and the reactions of people to Narnia. I thought it was really interesting.
