Hey folks ...

I'm wondering if someone might be able to point me in the right direction - I am looking for the font used in the Narnia movie posters. Has anyone seen a download for this?

Thanks!

I don't think that is an actual font you can type.. I have a 99% hunch that it's gotta be something that's done by a graphics artist.. I don't know of any font that will allow characters to overlap onto other characters like the A.. It's possible who ever designed the logo for that site just used the letters on the poster as a reference to create the Z, T and H in photoshop.. It's actually quite simple to do.. May need a little practice, but not impossible to do..

Did you try emailing the site that did that poster and ask how they made it?

www.themeworld.com has a lot of fonts, if they have the Narnia font, I cannot say, but it is a good place to go for fonts. I found the Harry Potter style font from the US books there.

Good luck with that, and let us know if you find it, and where.

Narnia font

I have this font downloaded and installed under Linux. I really like it, but it seems to have a problem with character spacing-- some characters overlap. The descender on the R works really nicely, though.

I think there is a way to fix the character spacing, but I have to find some diagnostic tools for Bitstream fonts.
