Nessa's poems

I post some of my poems :D

Vision of the Lion

Little Lucy laid in bed
Felt asleep when her prayers had been said
Lucy dreamed a gorgeous dream
About a Lion and a lighting beam

A Lion big strong and tough
Came to Lucy from above
The Lion looked inside her eyes
And said words gentle and wise

Little Lucy daughter of Eve
Just be happy and stop the grieve
For I will always be here with you
I can see you and you can see me too

Look in your heart if you just feel sad
A single prayer can never do bad
Just say what's on your heart to me
And I will answer, you will see

Now look around and see the sun
The beautiful morning has just began
Look at the Birds they fly away
To search for food day after day

Lucy saw a golden globe
Bright as sunlight it brought her hope
A swan so sweet white as snow
Her eyes big and blue as they started to glow

Upon a hill a Horse looked at her
Lucy knew it was a Miss and not a Sir
The beautiful manes were raven black
She threw her head against her neck

What you see now my Lucy dear
Is hope and glory so there's no fear
This is just a part I want to share
Look at it again any place anywhere

Lucy saw a golden coast and golden sand
A golden castle in a big golden land
Then she noticed the huge golden Thrown
It belonged to someone dear and not unknown

Come my Lucy, back to sleep
Take a good rest long and deep
When the morning comes you will see
How it once were and how it will be

Little Lucy slept long for sure
She woke up at noen by a knock on her door
Lucy come quick I'll show you a letter
Written by someone unknown so what's the matter

Lucy opened her letter socurious and quick
Written in golden inkt in style and thick
It's not over you see Lucy, my dear
I told you to look and see I am here

Is the Lucy in the poem Lucy Pevensie? If so, was this before or after her first trip into the wardrobe?

Lucy and the Lion are Lucy Pevensie and Aslan. It's up to the reader if this is before or after the trip to Narnia :D I was just writing a random poem. When I wrote it down on here the words came in my head

Thank you, Vanessa, for not leaving the forum without first sharing your poetry. I have not forgotten the poem you wrote for me long ago. It takes brains and creativity to write verses, as you have done, in a language that is not your native language.

Never forget I wrote it from the bottom of my heart Joe. Word by word. Yes, it can be difficult to write in another language than my native language but it's also a challenge ;)

A Sun Flower

Her light shines at you
You love her shining sight
She smiles at you
You feel warmth coming up

This Flower has no limits
She goes where ever she wants to
Her ways are changing on each step
But she never takes the wrong way

Her eternal sisterly love
Can be heard when you call out her name
She whispers to you
And tell you it´s gonna be alright

A writer she is
You´ve read all her stories
She draws her characters on paper
You can tell she has much talent

But she doesn´t want to get attention
She already feels happy at her (CT) home
All she wants is to see you smiling
And make you love the day

This Sunflower is special
She is the most special Flower on earth to me
Wait till your path crosses hers
Then you will see what I mean

Magsie my Onee-Chan I love you ;)

Does the sun flower in your poem represent a person?

The poem sounds kind of like a song--have you tried setting it to music?
