New Podcast

Hello there! We subscribed to you on YouTube.

Anything more you can tell us about your podcast?

Is it family-friendly? Tell us about yourself as the host, your history with Narnia, what people will hear about if they tune in, anything else we should know?

Wow thanks Specter - yes I’ll elaborate. It’s definitely family friendly, we have 2 kids (age 10-12) participating in the pod, accompanied by world class mandolin player “Uncle Ben”

I just started reading the books last Christmas and when I finished The Last Battle I found myself “missing” Narnia. That’s when I turned to podcasts, and I did find some good ones that go through Narnia chapter by chapter or break down the series in different ways.

So I’m aware that there are many Narnia podcasts already in existence. I hope ours is potentially more fun and light hearted, with music and humor and laughter being the dream themes.

Thank you for reaching out and please feel free to comment or provide feedback positive or otherwise. We’ve now gone through the first 7 chapters and looking forward to the creation of Narnia coming soon in Chapter 8!

ATTENTION, MISTER DAWSON.,,,,

SINCE YOU _ARE_ NEW HERE, YOU HAVE NO WAY OF KNOWING ABOUT A LONG-AGO TWO-PERSON EFFORT TO FILL IN EVENTS IMMEDIATELY _AFTER_ WHAT IS DEPICTED IN "THE MAGICIAN'S NEPHEW."

IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME, SO I'M NOT SURE THAT WHAT I'M ABOUT TO DESCRIBE _HASN'T_ FALLEN DOWN A MEMORY HOLE. BUT VERY EARLY IN MY TENURE HERE, I GOT THE IDEA OF WRITING SOMETHING WHICH _COULD_ HAVE HAPPENED WITHIN THE LIFETIMES OF KING FRANK AND QUEEN HELEN. I TITLED MY STORY "SOUTHWARD THE TIGERS." ANOTHER DANCING LAWN MEMBER, KNOWN HERE AS TIMBALIONGUY, GOT ON BOARD WITH MY PROJECT. BEING A REAL-LIFE EXPERT ON BIG CATS, HE WANTED TO DEPICT LIONS WHO _WEREN'T_ MANIFESTATIONS OF DEITY. HE NAMED HIS NOVEL "THE LION'S SHARE."

TIM STOFFEL (MUNDANE NAME OF TIMBALIONGUY) HAD HIS NOVEL BEGIN _EARLIER_ THAN WHERE "SOUTHWARD THE TIGERS" BEGINS; THEREFORE IT SHOULD BE WHERE ANY READER STARTS. (HE EVEN WROTE COOL SCENES DEPICTING HOW CAIR PARAVEL MIGHT HAVE BEEN CONSTRUCTED.)

REAL-WORLD WORK PREVENTED TIM FROM COMPLETING "LION'S SHARE." BUT IF YOU READ WHAT EXISTS OF TIM'S WORK, THEN READ "SOUTHWARD," YOU WILL GET ONE COMBINED STORY WHICH MAKES SENSE.

That's awesome. I have subscribed to it, and will also get it added to our links page. We're still building up our YouTube channel as it's been mostly dormant and we couldn't get the @NarniaFans name. Our channel is still easily found searching Narnia Fans so we have no need to change it at this point. The person who has @NarniaFans is not reachable.
