(Note: I wasn't sure whether I should post this here or in the books section, so mods please feel free to move this if needed)

Hey everyone,

I've started a new tradition to celebrate the release of Prince Caspian and I would like to see if anyone else on here is doing this too.

Since there are seven days before the start of the movie, I have started re-reading all of the books again; one each day. My goal is to finish all of the books before I go see the movie. It's really fun to re-read the books since you never know what you might notice that you didn't see before.
 
Well, I just finished Last Battle last night after having been reading all the books for the past few weeks so I guess I already fullfilled the "tradition?". However, I will read PC again before Friday:):D
 
Well, I'm kind of doing that. Since I am sort of still new to the series, I've decided to read all the books in the series before PC so I can feel like a true fan and say "I've read all the books". I am going to start The Last Battle soon. :)

Well, i sure want to participate, but do you mind if i take the week before july 2nd (release date here) because this week i have to study very, very hard for my exams, which are coming up in 2 weeks:D But i'll try in that week, since it's really cool. I just finished re-reading SC (it took me longer than a day though) and i noticed so much i didn't notice before. SC wasn't my favorite, but now i see so much that i never saw before!!

Enjoy it. :D "The Last Battle" is amazing...especially the last chapter.


I would like to do the tradition, but I've got so much going on that there's no way I could read one Narnia book a day (plus I'd be a day behind anyway). But I am rereading PC before Friday, to make sure I remember all the details. :)
 
I would love to participate, but like lieke I've got school stuff to take care of, especially during the last few weeks. However I am definetly going to re-read Prince Caspian before Friday! :)
 
im sorta doing something like that but its different for me, i had all the books read to me but i dont really remember anything because i was so young, but what i have decided to do was read the whole book right before the movie comes out (for example: i JUST finished PC like 5 mins ago i loved it!) and im going to try to stop my self from reading VOTDT until a few weeks of its release (yea lets see how well that works :D)
 
It looks like I will have to finish my tradition after the movie's release.

Unfortunately my work demanded more of my time this week than I had anticipated.

But no matter, it is still great to read the books again and I have to say that I am enjoying it thoroughly!

I'm taking Silver Chair with me tonight so I can finish it before the movie and at least me mostly through with the books!
 
I have this thing called a job....... But, I do read cyclically through the books, but I am lucky if I can find an hour a week to read books (and I love reading!). Currently in SC, which is also my favorite book.
