New year’s resolutions, anyone?

I love making lists - from gear lists to to-do lists. Every New Year, I make resolutions, for the hell of it... And then as that year dies, I check off which ones I’ve done... For someone who takes life as it comes and lives for the day, I’m happy to announce my general batting average is 80 per cent... In 2009, it went up 90 per cent.

So, 2010...here goes!!!!

1- I resolve I shall be chronically happy for 2010, as I’ve been, every year in the past!
2- I shall live my life to the hilt everyday and make every moment extraordinary.
3- I shall fulfill the pledge I solemnly swore to my tigers, my lions, my leopard and my eagles.
4- I shall launch my first website in 2010, as I promised my professor.
5-I’ll solo-backpack across 13 countries in Europe for 63 days and have tons of fun. May I never run out of funds!
6-If I don’t run out of funds, I’ll head for Kamchatka to interact with the Steller’s eagles, the goldens and the gyrs.
7-I’ll self-publish my first book on my adventure travels.
8-I’ll work on the first draft of the biography of my parents.
9-I’ll completely re-design and re-do my pad.
10-I’ll squeeze in time for my second one-woman show.
11. I’ll strategize for a Bolivia trip so I can work with jaguars.
12- I’ll plot the course of the next 10 years of my life but I’ll be open to every exciting detour.
13- And what else? Hmmmm. I think I’ll look for a Hungarian Horntail in Hungary! :D
14-In case I find a magnificent specimen, I’ll persuade him to come home with me!:D

That’s all I can think of for the now... So, what’s yours?;)

in no paticular order...

1) lose weight (no comments, objections, or diet plans please)
2) keep to my writing schedule
3) make all As in my classes
4) grow in my faith
5) finish and be proud of a painting
6) Get my mom to realize I'm an adult.

To finish my 2nd book
to write two more books
to finish editing the 1st book
to clean my room and actually KEEP it clean :p
To stay cheerful and happy throughout the year no matter what happens.

I didn't even relise I had any till I thought about it!

Possibly... I don't know :p. I'll make some up right now.

1. Brighten my outlook on life.
2. Become more responsible.
3. Get my learner's permit and driver's licsense.
4. Get a job.
5. Read my bible every day and night.
6. Complete sophmore and first half of junior year with great grades.
7. Visit my friend in kansas (or vise versa) again.
8. Write and finish at least ONE story all year. A real story.
9. Work on my people skills :p.
10. See VDT movie at least a dozen times in the theater :D!

:p. Long and silly but still.
Good luck to all and happy new year!

No, I don't do that anymore. If I want to do something I do it without waiting for the New Year :p
The only thing I really wanna do this year is going to Philadelphia and watch my Flyers play in Wachovia. And I have a couple of friends in Philly who aren all Flyers fan (they are from a Flyers forum) and they already told me they want to visit a game with me :D So Philly here I come!

Nice resolutions, all! May we all fulfill them in the days to come. :)

1. Finish rewriting my "Dragonfly" novel and look into publishing.
2. Get my husband's website up and running for him.
3. Continue to walk with Jesus and know Him better.

Seems reasonable. :)

I resolve to argue in favor of accurate facts. Right now, lots of people are saying that this is a new decade we are in. But they're wrong. 2010 is the last year of the first decade of the current century. The 21st century began with the year 2001, NOT the year 2000. There is no Year Zero in the Gregorian Calendar; the Christian era begins with Year One, and all other century-beginnings (thus also decade-beginnings) follow from that.

1 finish at least two of the eight billion stories i've been working on forever
2 improve my running times
3 improve my distances in long jump
4 be more adventurous
5 be friendlier
6 apply myself more in math (though i guess it's a bit late for that this school year...the semester ends in like two weeks, and then i don't have any more math til next year)

Another one of my new years resolutions is to go to church more often. We BARELY, went to church last year, so I hope that we can go way more often this year.

I thought of another resolution; to get Fire better and to have her and her siblings back outside ASAP.
And to go on a mission trip to Honduras with my mom, it'd be my first one.:)

here are a few of my goals

to pray to serve God in another area of ministry or stay in the church bookstore

to use the stair stepper to workout for 15 or 20 minutes might think about going on a diet

to stop thinking that i know all the answers to the end times whinch i don't

to pray for everyone & strengthen my relationship with God

to look for a b/f in the real world or stay single

to take care of my dog caspian and give him plenty of good care

to get ride of pride
