I was soooooooooooooo upset when they did not put that song on the soundtrack!!!!! At first i thought that it might be because it is really short-but the lullabye was really short also. Then I realized that it is probably because they didn't create that song for LWW but it was a popular song in like the 40s. I really love songs that are like that!!!

Yeah i wish they had,i love that song so much, its great to dance to and listen to:D:D
Thats exactly why they put that song in lol:D
Welcome to the site too:)

i know!! I usually listen to it while i am doing my school (i am homeschooled) and when i am going to sleep. it helps my math lesson go by quicker. hehehhe

It's not on there because it doesn't fit the overall experience of the soundtrack, good a song though it may be.

If you like it try to find it and buy it. Check out jazz and and swing from that era. For a generic starter band you could start with the Swingfield Big Band.

It was the Andrews Sisters. My wife, who knows music of that era, explained. I don't know which of their recordings it was on.

Here's my original post concerning the "Oh Johnny" Song
http://www.narniafans.com/forum/showthread.php?p=71732

"Oh Johnny" is a World War I era wartime song that became incredibly popular in the 1940's (World War II era), at the same time this movie takes place. It was originally composed by Ed Rose and Abe Olman, but was popularized in the 40's by Glen Miller and the Andrew Sisters.

Oh, Johnny! Oh, Johnny!
How you can love!
Oh, Johnny! Oh, Johnny!
Heavens above!
You make my sad heart jump with joy,
And when you're near I just
Can't sit still a minute.
I'm so, Oh, Johnny! Oh, Johnny!
Please tell me dear.
What makes me love you so?
You're not handsome, it's true,
But when I look at you,
I just, Oh, Johnny!
Oh, Johnny! Oh!

They also couldn't get it because of copyrights. The copyright rules are fairly lax as far as putting songs in a movie but on the soundtrack is much more difficult. It costs a good deal more money and its not an original song so it is not as necessary on the Narnia soundtrack That's why a lot of soundtracks don't always have the same songs that are on the movie.

All this is true. But the most popular version of the song was performed by Little Bonnie Baker. :)

errr quick question when was that song played???? I almost never pay attention to the music in movies until I am sick of watching the movie, though sometimes I pick up on music in movies if its like the only sound in the movie, so where was it played???
