We've just received the sad news that the original illustrator of The Chronicles of Narnia has just passed away.

When Earth's last picture is painted and the tubes are twisted and dried,
When the oldest colours have faded, and the youngest critic has died,

I am truly sorry that she died, and hope her family and friends will be comforted and strengthened by the Lord and each other.
