I am trying to find out(in large amounts) how many PC gamers would love to see games designed for Wii(such as Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for one) or games for XBox 360, or PS3 to be made into PC games. I have realized that LoZ:TP alone would raise Nintento's sales quite a bit, but to prove this to them, I need results as to how many PC gamers would want this to happen.

I voted Yes.

The PC has better graphics, better playing enviroment and so on. There is no reason to buy a console when you have the games you wanna play on the PC. If you want a joystick, you can buy almost every joystick out there for a PC, even the Wii ones.

You people obviously don't know why people play consoles. There's a certain charm to popping your catridge/cd into it, picking up your controller and playing. I also don't think any of you quite understand what it takes to port a game to the pc. Every single console has it's own hardware, but pc's are totally different. You'll have to go through hundreds or thousands of dollars to find the hardware you need, and even if you did have the right specs there's a very high chance that you'll have problems with running your game just depending on what computer you have. Consoles are freakin CHEAP compared to some of the stuff you need for a good pc.

What makes you actually THINK that a company like Nintendo would port one of it's games to the pc? ESPECIALLY if it were made for the Wii?

This is simply not correct. I'll go for Norwegian prizes now, as I obviously doesn't know your prizes. But I know that your hardware is cheaper then mine. A PC that can run every game on the market right now costs about 2000$ dollars where I come from. A Console (let's say a Xbox) costs 1000$. Do you know how much more quality you get from a PC? Dude, seriously, if you compared the graphics card in a Xbox or PS3 or WHATEVER, you'd have about 25% of the graphics that you can get with a good PC.

If you had a choice: Upgrade your current PC or buy a console, Upgrading your PC would be CHEAPER then buying yourself a new console.

I play consoles. I have a Xbox 360, while my brother has a PS3 AND a Wii. I find great fun in it. But you can clearly see the QUALITY difference between a PC and a console. as a plus, you can do almost everything you want with a PC. If you like playing on a TV, then connect it with a TV, either through a HD or DvI socket. Want to play with a joystick? Connect it with your PC. Want to read your Email? Do that, while playing the game. Want TWO screens to play on? Connect a new screen.

Name ONE nice thing about a console that a PC cannot do.

I know several downfalls to Wii, and I know something else about XBox also. The software for XBox is designed by...MICROSOFT! That's not that hard to transfer from a Microsoft Xbox game, into a PC game. On Wii...well, lets just say, it was designed while not being thought through all the way. Here's why: YOu can take photos of any single one of the games using the console. But one problem: that photo will stay ONLY on the console because the file type prevents it from being moved to a computer.

And quite frankly...there is nothing a console can do that a PC cannot. If anything, they're still trying to get consoles to where they are equal to a PC. But then there's one problem with that also. PC technology is advancing to rapidly. My brother and I have bought some of the top of the line items to build our own computer. For less than $1500, we've already gotten one of the best video cards, best motherboards, a 1010watt powersupply, and several other great items. The only thing we had go wrong was we were told the memory we ordered would work with the motherboard. Turns out, the memory doesn't work, so we're sending it back to get it replaced at a cost of maybe $200-400. Now, all of these items are more than adequate to run most games. The video card is the GeForce 9800 GTX, which no game requires this one in particular(yet ;)). For Wii, you have to spend $600+ for just the console and maybe more remotes. And then you add the games, which I have not seen many of them below the price of $50-60.

Right you are lord of light. With a PC like yours, it sounds like you can do almost every game at top quality performance (Other then Crysis perhaps). I have the 9800GTX to, though I hardly see any difference from the 8800GTX card. Add that with 4giggs of RAM and you're almost good to go. My RAM and my graphics card costs around 400$, while a console costs around 1000$... I wish I could've gotten away from Vista, but divX10 prevented me :(

I'm not a big gamer, but my brother told me about a PC game for Wii. He was telling me that if he got it then I could play Peter in the battle against Miraz.:D I think he was trying to get me to do something....and it worked. Even I'd play if I could beat Miraz as if I really had a sword and shield.

Doffen, I don't know a single place that sells Xboxs at $1000. Your getting ripped off dude, I could get one for around $350 - $500 at a local entertainment store.

Simple straightforeword gaming, no game installation(back then), no tech nohow, easy to carry, easy local multiplayer, no lag, easy setup, blah blah blah. Gamepad's have always been better equipped with consoles while the pc has keyboard/mouse. They are better off left that way instead of trying to play fighting/platforming/whatever games on a computer. You could technically port any console game to the pc, but it would be pointless since they're meant to be experienced on consoles. That's why I never buy ported pc fps's and rts's; they're meant for mouse/keyboard. Trying to enjoy a console game on a pc is like trying to enjoy an arcade game on a pc and realizing there's no credit slot on your hardrive; it just doesn't feel right.

And in this case... Zelda has always been meant for Nintendo systems. So has Mario.
