Peter's Armor

Has anyone ever noticed Peter's armor in PC (in the duel)?

In the 1st picture, on the left side of his shoulder piece, there is nothing sticking up.

But in the 2nd picture, there is something sticking up off of the shoulder piece.

I re-watched PC today and noticed that for the very first time. Anybody else notice this or is it just me?

Oh, and surprise surprise, it's like that in LWW too!

That's nothing! If you ever see the Russian period film "Aleksandr Nevsky," in the scene where Prince Aleksandr engages in single combat with the enemy leader, from one instant to another, Aleksandr is holding a sword, then a lance, then an axe, then a sword again, then an axe again. Stalin must have been putting each day's prop handlers to death, so the new guys the next day weren't sure which weapon to hand to the star of the picture.

Ugh, that would bug me! I can't believe Ididn't notice Peter's armor until today...I've only seen Prince Caspian, what? about 50 times or so? I usually notice that stuff right off the bat, but I wonder why it's like that in LWW too. Maybe it serves a battle purpose???

Hmm, I think Copperfox's idea is closer to the truth...they wouldn't make such a cosmetic mistake on a main character's armor just to get a better shot. Maybe it was a protective device, but I don't know why they didn't do it on both sides.
