Piano/Violin [composed] music

Hmm..Maybe Celtic music? Some of that is like that..I have a book of violin sheet music by the Scottish group Silly Wizard.

oh my gosh... we think alike!

Yeah, anyway... I looooove the type of music you describe. I'm actually composing a piece on the piano currently. I don't know of many modern artists who compose this awesome stuff, but I'm sure there's plenty out there.

I loooooove Clair de Lune by Debussy. I'm working on mastering it. It's soooo easy and really pretty.. yeah.

No..i don't think it's celtic music..i listened to celtic once, cuz this girl in my class was wearing a "flogging Molly" shirt and i was like that sounds like an interesting band ill check it out. nooo.
AWESOME! we DO have a lot in common, it's awesome.*HI FIVE* And we've both been on here for a while but yeah...
you know today i got this amazing tune like that in my head, an dit was like only in my head, it just popped out , but i dindt exactly come up with it, it just...poof, apeared. it reminded me of edward. oh! i wonder about HIS amazing compositions!
i listened to that, but i think i sohuld listen to it again because when i listened to it it didn't sound that great.
I found this
and i also really love that song.

I can't actually pass you any audio links, but I can make a recommendation. A Russian composer named Moussorgsky wrote a series of short compositions for piano, called "Pictures at an Exhibition" because they symbolized a group of paintings he had seen. They make magnificent piano music, and have also been done in fully-orchestrated form.

that's pretty good jesusfreak! it's somewhat sinister and mysterious too.
WOW! COPPERFOX! omg oyu guys theres this one tune I'm looking for you guys but i can't find it in like just piano and oyu know what;s ironic?
the band that the song is form, the one who;s tune im looking for in just piano
they have a song called "Pictures at an Exhibition"..i think hehe but im pretty sure
DEATH CAB FOR CUTIE> AMAZING BAND. <3

I think that what you mean by connecting a "band" with my recommendation of Moussorgsky is that the rock trio Emerson, Lake and Palmer once did an album bearing the same title as Moussorgsky's work. I can't say what E-L-P's music on that album was like, because I am so majorly NOT a fan of theirs. Greg Lake, especially, was in the same club of God-haters as Phillip Pullman, openly and very specifically mocking Christianity on their album "Tarkus."
