So... here we have poems, that do not have special forms...like sonnets and stuff. Just make up your own forms ;)

Let me start again :D

In my dreams
I've seen a smile
A smile so fair and bright
So beautiful
It changed my life
And filled me with delight.

In my dreams
I’ve seen a hand
I’ve seen your hand hold mine
Then your embrace
Fulfills my soul
And we in on combine

In my dreams
I’ve seen your lips
Your lips caressed my heart
And when we kissed
When our lips met
My dreams were torn apart

When I woke
There was no light
The pain was hard to bear
Then hope reborn
I saw a smile
A smile so bright and fair

I love your poem, Beren. :) Especially the last part of it is beautifully described.

I prefer to write poems without rhyme, which allows me to just work with the rhythm in the sentences. This particular poem was written for a good friend of mine in a time when he was feeling very troubled... I never let him read it, but I know he knows what I have tried to say in this poem. ;)

Aftermath

I close my eyes with a sigh
Peace deepens in a single blink
I feel your warmth around me
When I shiver and relax

I hear your voice murmuring
Great incantations flood the sky
I want to be in your heartbeat
Breathing with your soul tonight

But you're not here when I wake
You're away in your own place
But still I miss you, love you, need you
I think of you so I can cure your solitude

When I can brighten your world with a smile
Will you let me know about that in time?

The Forever Dreamer

Hold me in your arms and take me
Home to where my heart takes flight
Give me a breath of hope to live on now
I want to be in your kind of heaven tonight

Let me dream for just one more day
Sing me a song of days long gone by
I need to know that which I remember
Even if it will make me weep and cry

I long for a better tomorrow than today
And it seems I've found it inside of you
I take a leap towards the sky and never
Think I'll fall as long as we're with two

And if I am indeed the forever dreamer
I hope I'll never wake from your embrace
Sometimes I think I will never have another
Name or feeling for this wonderful place
Than love...
 
HEHE... this is the second poem that I have written :D

The Undying Love

I'm sure a bird with broken wings
Can be compared to many things

Will fall and fall down from the sky
Will land and crash and it will die

Real Love is not a thing like that
She falls sometimes though she’s not dead

She’ll still be hidden in your heart
I know from there she’ll never part

But always she will leave a mark
As she will lay there in the dark

A mark that will be seen to all
It will be written on a wall

The wall will be your eyes with tears
Your mind, your soul in coming years

And one day she will rise again
Not knowing she will bring you pain

You'll accept her with delight
But you will lose the war – the fight

I’ll never let our love to die
We’ll make her fly up to the sky

She’ll never fall and never crash
She’ll always land and never smash

She’ll be a dove and not a crane
Our love will never be in vain

We will never let her die
We’ll make her fly up to the sky!
