Puddleglum's hat

Sorry I can't draw. This would be an interesting alternative to the hat we usually see Puddleglum wearing in drawings - http://store1.yimg.com/I/asianideas_1847_14242954
Years ago I see some dock workers in Hong Kong wearing hats like this one, except the rims of the hat curved inward starting about 1/3 way near the edge, rather then being flat. The idea that the hat is made of a reedy material is more likely in keeping of Mashwiggle culture then one woven from cloth.

wow thats interesting, i love the hat puddle glum wares. well in the books that he wares those are the only kinds of hats im aware of . Ya the pnes in the link you had, those are what they ware to keep the sun off obviously. I have seen these in movies many times aswell

Puddleglums hat would definately look similar, but I think it'd be a bit grubbier, and probably a little floppy, all that water and mud! Nice find tho!

Could be a good one to wear to the premier of "The Silver Chair" though it could bring in complaints if you sit in front of anyone...

A sombrero would be pretty similar. I once made one into Gandlf the Whies hat, with the help of some white cloth, glue and staples. Wrecked my hair tho!
