R.i.p Heath Ledger

The story broke only minutes ago, while I was on the NF chat. Anyone there can tell you,I was horribly heartbroken, that Heath Ledger was found dead in his apartment this morning.
So, here, we say the Official TDL Farewell to Australian actor, Heath Ledger, most famous in his role in "Brokeback Mountain."

Love you forever, Heath. ♥

The news is very shocking, I feel sorry for his little girl and his former girlfriend, Michelle. Farewell Heath!
And Hollywood is deprived of yet another great actor. :(

I'm wasn't a real fan of his, and I never saw any of his movies, but I was still so sad and shocked to hear about this. I think it's always shocking to hear about someone so young dying...I feel so sorry for his little girl.

This is just so tragic.

My condolences to his family and daughter.

He was way too young and talented to die.

:(

Heath Ledger was in some pretty horribly written movies (A Knight's Tale, 10 Things I hate About You, and The Patriot come to mind right away) but he was an excellent actor and if not for him I wouldn't have given those movies a chances. He was talented and it was clear he worked hard in every role he had. It's terrible to see one of the few (one of the very, very few) talented actors of this generation.

His role in A Knight's Tale and that whole movie in general (though stupid I love it) inspired the very first idea for my story I ever had and his boyish good looks and tremendous acting helped in forming one of my chief characters. I'm sad to see he's gone.

I feel so bad, Heath Ledger was one of my favorite actors. He had such talent, such strength and he over all was just brillant. It saddens me to know of his death, but my heart aches more knowing that his daughter will grow up without a father. It's hard to see someone so young and talented leave this earth and now Hollywood has lost a fine person, who in my opinion can never be replaced. I only wish that someone, a Chrisitan coudl ahve reached out to him and shared the Gospel with him. Assuming that he was going through hard times (which seems evident) It would have been good timing for him to know how much he is loved. Still with his passing I know he will be forever remembered through his movies. I must admit that it shall be bizzar to see Heath as Joker in the upcoming Batman movie, knowing that he is deseased. In conclusion I pray for his family and my heart goes out to them. But most of all my heart is saddened that such a fine actor is gone.

it is quite sad that his daughter will never know her father but all i can say is a good talent was lost and his movies were quite good i loved a knights tale one great movie and Hollywood did lose a good actor and it will be odd seeing him in The Dark Knight.

Speaking of Heath Ledger and Christians: the first work of his ever seen in America was a promising TV fantasy series titled "ROAR," which was never given a fair chance to build its audience. "ROAR," set in Ireland in something like the second century A.D., was actually relatively Christian-friendly for a secular TV series. Too bad Heath didn't absorb what he should have absorbed from exposure to the Christian elements in that; it might have headed him in a very different direction than he took.

I do not respect some of his more recent career choices (Brokeback Mountain and A Knight's Tale immediately come to mind), I thought that he was a marvelous actor in the one movie that I did watch of his, The Patriot, which by the way is based off of a book that is based on the life of Francis Marion, the Swamp Fox. It seems to me that the accidental overdose theory is not the one I would pursue immediately, the fact that he had pnuemonia and was taking sleep medicine makes me think drug interaction.
