ic-The walk was silent between the woods. Every now and then the sounds of branches breaking could be heard. To this the Rangers would respond by taking out their bows and arrows in less than a second and positioning themselves. The Pirates would do the same with their pistols and musket seconds later.
"All is well, lower your armor," Elindil said.
The Pirates waited for a signal from the Captain so that they could do the same. She finally motioned for them to put away their pistols and muskets. "Let's git back to walkin'," the captain said. She hurried and got next to Elindil. Though the Rangers and Pirates were once enemies, and then later became each other's allies, there were still tension between them, and that tension was felt by the silence there was between both crew. Except for the newer Rangers and Pirates whom were not there at the time when the Rangers and Pirates fought to defend the Queen of Narnia, the queen of the Knights, Hannah. Or the fact that the leader of the Rangers had once accused the Pirate's cook of stabbing her purposely in the back. But, the Pirates just simply kept quiet about it and made no mention of it.
