This is a Twilight Fanfic. It starts right after New Moon (the book) ends. It is center on Chloe, Bella’s best friend from her childhood, and is told from her point of view. This is not the typical Twilight Fanfic.

Chapter 1

I looked out the window for the hundredth time. What was the name of the town again? Forks, that’s right. I was on my way to Forks to see Bella. What kind of name is Forks anyway? Its so odd. I had lived there for the first 7 years of my life and I still didn’t know why it was named Forks. I looked out of the window again, I could see the clouds below. I still couldn’t believe I was doing this. I hadn’t seen Bella in ten years. Yes, we had kept in touch with Christmas cards and recently email. But still, ten years is a long time. I had thought about calling Uncle Charlie, that’s what I called him, though he wasn’t my uncle, and telling him that I had changed my mind. But I hadn’t, I was sitting on a plan on my way to Forks, trying to escape the drama of my parents divorce. I knew I couldn’t completely escape it, but being on the other side of the country would at least help.

I stepped off the plan and looked out the window. Bella wasn’t joking, it hasn‘t changed a bit. Ugh. Now just to get my bags and get to the car. I guess that’s one benefit to having a billionaire for a father, he doesn’t rent you a car, he buys you one.

Bag, check. Car, check. Keys…Where did I put the keys? Ah, got them. Now just to drive to Forks. Hopefully Bella will be home, though somehow, I doubt Uncle Charlie told her I was coming.

Forks Welcomes you. Great, the same sign that was there ten years ago. This is going to be nice though, spending my senior year with Bella. It will be just like old times, before my parents went crazy.

I couldn’t help but stare as I pulled up to Bell’s house, my house for the next week or until I could find an apartment. It hadn’t changed at all. There was uncle Charlie’s car and that must be Bella’s truck. Neat color. I parked then got out. My black BMW stuck out like a sore thumb. I knew I should have told my dad to buy a used car.

Bags in hand I walked towards the door. They should be home, but what if they weren’t? Here goes nothing. I knocked on the door…and waited. Someone was walking toward the door, suddenly it opened. I jumped slightly as it opened.

“Uncle Charlie,” I said grinning. He hadn’t changed either.

“Chloe,” he said, it looked like he might actually smile. “Its good to see you again. Come in.”

I walked in and dropped my bag on the floor. Where was Bella?

“Bella will be back soon, she went out with Edward.” He must have noticed my confused expression. “Edward is her boyfriend.”

“Boyfriend? Wow, she never mentioned him.” I’ll have to ask her about that, boyfriends is one thing you don’t keep secrets about. “So does she even know I’m here?” His expression answered my question.

“No, I thought it would be a nice surprise for her,” he said. I nodded, right. In other words he didn’t know how to tell her that a friend she hadn’t seen for ten years was coming to live with them.

“Well you can put your things in the guest room, right beside Bella’s.”

I smiled, “thanks uncle Charlie.”

He nodded and walked back into the living room, he must be watching foot ball. He hadn’t changed a bit. I grabbed my bag and headed up the steps. It was easy to find the room, I’d stayed in it many times when I was little. I dropped my bag on the bed and started unpacking.

A silver Volvo pulled up, that must be Bella, and Edward. I guess I get to meat the boyfriend now. I pulled my sweater back on and headed down stairs.

I got to the bottom of the steps and froze. No one had noticed me yet so I was free to stare. Bella hadn’t changed at all. Well, except for getting taller. That must be Edward, not what I expected.

“Chloe?” I looked back at Bella. She was staring at me. So was Edward now.

“Hey Bella,” I said as I walked closer. Everyone was still staring. I know that I looked different, I mean most people don’t have curly black hair, bright green eyes, and are freakishly pale, but still. Staring?

“Chloe,” Bella said before she hugged me. I felt like the wind had been knocked out of me.
“Wow, its so great to see you,” she looked at me for a minute, “you haven’t changed a bit.”

“Thanks, neither have you,” I said smiling.

“This is Edward,” Bella said. My eyes shifted to him, he was still staring. It was starting to freak me out.

“Its nice to meet you,” he said. His voice was so…angelic. I smiled and shook his hand, he was oddly cold.

“Its nice to meet you to, though I must admit, Bella has told me nothing about you.”

He…laughed. I didn’t relies that was funny.

“She hasn’t told me anything about you either,” he said, smiling.

He is definitely not what I expected. I smiled back, more out of reflex than anything. He said something to Bella then left. I didn’t catch what he said. As soon as the door closed behind him I looked at Bella. “I guess Forks isn’t that bad,” I said, teasing her. Bella laughed, blushing.

“So what are you doing here? Don’t get me wrong, I’m so happy to see you, but its kind of weird, I had no idea you were coming.” I watched as uncle Charlie walked back into the living room. He obviously was going to let me explain. “Lets go upstairs.”

No, Chloe is 100% human

I followed Bella up the stairs to her room and walked in after her. She sat on her bed and I sat on the rocking chair. I glanced around her room, it felt weird, its smelled weird too.
“So?” she asked, waiting for me to start explaining.
I took a deep breath, I need to keep my explanation short. It was getting late and I had school in the morning.

“Well, you know how my family moved to New York a couple of years ago.” Bella nodded, waiting for me to continue. “My dad had a really good job, he’s making more money than we could ever use but for some reason that wasn’t enough for my mom.” I took a deep breath, what was that smell? “She cheated on him and he found out and now they are in the middle of the worse divorce ever and I didn’t want to get stuck in the middle of it.”

Bella looked at me for a few minutes, I could tell she was thinking about what I had said.

“How long are you going to be here for?” she asked quietly. Something was weird in her voice, almost as if she was afraid of what my answer would be.

“I’m going to finish my senior year here, so about three months.” I waited for her reaction. She looked surprised at first and then…angry.
“But I can always get an apartment if that would be better,” I said quickly. I thought she would be happy. I knew it was a lot to take in considering we haven’t seen each other for ten years, but still. We are best friends, at least I think we still are. Maybe Edward was her new best friend.

“No, no you can stay here as long as you want,” Bella said, smiling again, though it looked forced. She seemed upset about something.

“Are you sure?” I didn’t know what I said but Bella seem upset, maybe even a little scared.

“Yeah, its fine. Its just…”She sighed. “My dad thinks I’ve been spending to much time with Edward and it seems like he planned this so I wouldn’t be able to spend much time with him.”

I couldn’t help but smile, “don’t worry, I don’t get in the way of you spending time with Edward.” I glanced at the clock. “Speaking of time, I need to get to bed.” I stood up and headed to the door, Bella looked almost relived that I was leaving. “I don’t want to be late for my first day of school. Oh, and tomorrow after school, you are telling me everything that you’ve been doing the past ten years. Starting with you and Edward. I want to know everything.” Bella smiled as I walked out. Something was weird. At least the smell was gone. Why did Bella’s room smell so weird? I walked into my room and flopped onto my bed, tomorrow was going to be a busy day. First day at a new school and having to call my parents for my weekly check in.

It crosses my mind that Jasper could, if he chose, take some kind of counselling job, in which he would sometimes be able to prevent divorces by dampening the anger in a situation.

Chapter 2

Beep…beep…beep. What was that? Oh, my alarm clock. That means…school. Great. What time is it? 7 am. Bell said school starts at eight, that gives me half an hour until I have to leave.

I replayed my conversation with Bella last night in my mind as I quickly dressed. I couldn’t help but feel that Bella didn’t want me here. Was something going on? I’d find out today. After school.

7:25, I have to leave in five minutes. I glanced in the mirror as I walked out of my room. I wasn’t vain, I never had been, but I was thankful I didn’t look completely horrible, like I normally did. I was also thankful that I had left all my designer clothes, that I never liked the begin with, at home. I would have stood out even more in them, hopefully I’ll blend in in my plain black jacket and jeans. Maybe no one will even notice me.

I heard Bella talking to someone as I stepped off the last step. She sounded upset…and she was talking about me. Wonderful. Maybe coming here had been a bad idea.

“Chloe?” Bella heard me, great. I needed to work on being silent. I stepped into the hall and forced a smile. Edward was standing behind Bella, staring at me again with the same intensity as before. I forced myself not to glare at him, that wouldn’t help.

“Hi,” my voice sounded cheerful, too cheerful. Neither of them seemed to though. Bella smiled, it didn’t even seem forced. Maybe she wasn’t mad at me.

“You ready to go? Edward is going to drive us to school.” My eyes widened slightly. Edward was going to drive us to school? Why? Bella had a car and so did I. Weird. I almost said I was ready but I remember my conversation with Bella last night.

“I was actually going to drive myself, if that’s ok? I wanted to look around after school, see if I could find anything that had changed.” They laughed. I had said the right thing. Bella flashed me a smile. At least she was happy, at least happier, now.

“You can follow me to school,” Edward said, his stare softening slightly. Maybe he just didn’t like me.

dude your on this site way to much. every tread i go to your there camping on stories.

Can Edward not read Chloe's thoughts like he can't read Bella's?

Love the update,I'm curious to find out what happens next.:)

Edward opened the door, a breeze of arctic air hit me. Wow. Its cold here. Bella walked out, I followed, zipping my coat. I stopped right out side the door. That odd smell in Bella’s room…Edward smelled the same. Weird. I headed to my car, something wet hit my face. It was snowing. Great. Could today get any worse?

I dug my keys out of my pocket and pushed the unlock button. The lights flashed on. Good, at least something was going my way today. I could feel Edward’s intense stare as I opened the door and slid into the drivers seat. I sighed. Enough was enough, he was going to stop. I slammed my door as I met his stare with one of my own. He looked away. I smiled triumphantly, maybe, just maybe, he would stop staring now. Why was he staring anyway?

I followed Edward to school. I could see him and Bella, at least Bella, talking on the way there. Based on the fact that Bella kept looking in the rear view mirror I guessed that they were talking about me. Again. What had I done to annoy them so much? Was it because I had just shown up? It was not my fault Charlie did not tell Bella I was coming. I pulled into the school parking lot and parked on the other beside Edward, on the passenger side. There were two people standing beside the car on the other side of Edward’s Volvo. One guy and one girl. I looked at them for a minute after I parked. The guy was about as tall as Edward and had sandy colored hair, the girl was about Bella’s height, shorter than me, and had black short hair. They were both pale.

I opened my door and slowly got out. Bella was waiting for me. She grabbed my arm and drug me towards the two people.

“Chloe, this is Jasper and Alice, two of Edward’s siblings.” Bella shifted her eyes from me to them. “Jasper, Alice, this is Chloe. She used to live here when we were little.”

I looked at Alice, she was staring at me. Just like Edward used to, my eyes flickered to him. Correction, like he still was. But Jasper, he was smiling. I smiled back. Finally
someone who didn’t stare.

I felt Bella pulling my arm again. She was leading me to the school building. It looked like everyone else who had been in the parking lot had already gone inside. All my morning classes were with Alice. Ok, so maybe today could get worse.

I had spent all morning in classes that I had taken before, listening to lectures that I had heard before, and taking notes that I would never need. But I guess that’s what happens when you take all honors classes. That was the problem with Forks High School. It had no advanced classes that I hadn’t already taken. At least homework wouldn’t take very long to do.

I followed Alice into the cafeteria. But I lost sight of her as soon as we were inside. She must have gotten in line for food. I got in line and waited my turn. I looked down at my tray as I paid. One apple and a bottle of water. I just wasn’t hungry. Maybe it was he jetlag or something. I looked around the cafeteria and almost dropped my tray when I saw that everyone, and I mean everyone, was staring at me. I swallowed hard. Someone grabbed my arm and stared leading me to one of the tables.

“It was just as bad my first day,” Bella said. I smiled slightly, at least someone understood how I felt. Bella lead me to a table where Edward, Jasper, and Alice where already sitting. None of them had food. Odd. I sat down. Bella sat beside me. There was that weird smell again.

I didn’t pay much attention to the conversation at my table. I answered questions when asked. Edward and Alice seemed the most curious. Though Jasper asked a few questions. It was all the typical questions. Where was I from? New York. Did I like Forks? No, but I said yes. How long was I staying? Three months. That got me some odd looks. But it was finally over, the interrogation was over. I had never been more thankful for lunch to be over.

I stood up. My head started spinning. I but my hand on the table and took a few deep breaths. I was just tired, that’s all.

“Chloe?” It was Alice’s voice, though it sounded distant. I felt something cold and hard grab me. Then everything went black.

I like how you have Jasper smiling at her..he always seemed too serious to me.:D

Something cold was on my forehead. I slowly opened my eyes. Bella was sitting beside me, holding my hand. She looked worried. I looked around the room. It was white. Where was I? My eyes finally landed on the person standing on my other side. It was a man. He looked like a movie star or a Greek god that had just stepped out of a mythology book. I stared at him for a moment. He was wearing a white jacket. A doctor, he was a doctor. That meant I was in a hospital. My eyes instantly went back to Bella.

“My parents?” My voice sounded weak, very weak. She smiled, that was a good sign. I hoped.

“I haven’t called them yet.” I tried to smile, I hoped it wasn’t to faint to see.

“How are you feeling?” My eyes drifted back to the Greek god. Who was he? He didn’t look old enough to be a doctor.

“Tired,” I said weakly. “What happened?” The last thing I remembered was something cold and hard grabbing me.

“You fainted in the cafeteria,” that was Alice. What was she doing here? I looked around the room. She was standing just inside the door with Edward and Jasper. They all looked concerned, though Alice looked more confused than concerned.

“Passed out,” I corrected. I never fainted. But passing out was a different story. The doctors thought the fresh air would help. Apparently they were wrong. I had been passing out occasionally for years. The first time I remember it happening was when I was in Italy with my parents when I was ten. I just collapsed. Since then it had happened about once or twice a year, with no warning and no apparent cause. My mother thought that I was just faking it to get attention. But I wasn’t. I had been taken to every specialist known to man and no one could figure out what was wrong with me.

“Have you been sleeping and eating regularly?” I looked back at the doctor. I couldn’t really remember. Everything seemed a bit fuzzy.

“I think so. I didn’t eat breakfast. I got here yesterday, its probably just a bit of jetlag.” I had to get out of here. Hospitals creep me out. He smiled.

“You seem fine. Bella is going to take you home. If you start to feel sick, dizzy, or can’t sleep, call me.” He handed me his card. I looked at it. Carlisle Cullen. Cullen? I looked up at him.

“Cullen? Are you related to Edward?” Apparently it was a stupid question. Bella was laughing.

“Yes, I’m his father.” I stared at him. He was Edward’s father? But they looked nothing a like. And he didn’t look old enough to have a son in high school.

“Well, thank you, Doctor Cullen.” I looked at Bella, “we better go before you dad calls my parents.”

“Chloe,” I looked back at the doctor. “Please, call me Carlisle.” I smiled and nodded.

Bella closed the door behind us. We were back at her house and I had spent half the day in the hospital. It could be worse I guess, I could have had to spend all afternoon in classes with Edward.

I heard Bella say something about making dinner as I walked up stairs. I couldn’t remember ever feeling this tired before. I guess passing out does that. I closed my door behind me and walked over to my bed and laid down. This wouldn’t be so bad if I knew why I keep passing out. I sighed and closed my eyes, drifting to sleep.

I spent my first month in Forks going to school, doing homework, and going to bed. Apparently Carlisle had told Charlie to make sure I didn’t over exert myself. Not like I could any way. Bella wont let me help cook, or clean. The only thing to do is read because its been to told to go outside. But today would be different. It was 60 degrees, which apparently was very odd for this time of year, and Bella was with Edward. So I had the entire day to myself. This would be wonderful. Bella still hadn’t told me much about Edward or his family. Every time I asked she made up an excuses as to why she didn’t have time to talk. I eventually gave up asking. At school they were nice to me, Edward and Alice no longer stared. And Jasper was just as nice as he had been the first day. But something was different about them and I wanted to find out what it was.

I finished lacing my boots and stepped outside. I had my jacket zipped, my hiking boots on, a bottle of water, food, and a compass. Today would be a good day. I started my trek into the woods. I inhaled the pure air as I walked. Maybe the doctor was right, maybe I just need fresh air. I had only been here a month yet I felt better than I had in years.

I didn’t know how long I’d been walking. I stepped into a clearing as sat down. My legs were getting sore. I took a long drink of my water and finished one of the apple I brought with me. I needed to start back. I stood up and took a few steps into the trees, heading back the way I had come. I heard something behind me. I looked around. Nothing. It must have been an animal. I kept walked. I froze. That was not an animal. Unless the animals here look like people and have red flowing hair. It was a woman, a beautiful, but dangerous looking woman. She took a step towards me. I took a step backwards, towards the clearing. She took another step closer. I stared at her for a minute. Something told me to run, so I did. I turned and ran for the clearing.

I could hear her behind me. Who was she? I didn’t know but I wasn’t stupid enough to wait around to find out. I stumbled into the clearing. I looked behind me, she wasn’t there. I took a few deep breaths to steady my heart. A twig snapped behind me. I slowly turned around. She was standing there. Less than an arm length away from me. Her eyes were red, I hadn’t noticed that before. The way she stared at me terrified me. I turned to run. She grabbed my wrist in an iron grasp. I could almost feel a bone breaking. She slapped my with the back of her other hand. I fell to the ground. My head slammed into a rock. I felt something warm start to run down the side of my face. She moved closer, her eyes becoming a brighter red. She was going to kill me.

“Did you really think you could escape, human?” I stared at her. Human? Wasn’t she a human? She crouched beside me. “Don’t worry, it will be over soon.” I felt something grabbed my hair and pull my head back. It was her hand. I hadn’t even noticed her hand move. She leaned down, inching her teeth closer to my neck. Then she suddenly stopped. Why? Her hand tightened even more in my hair. I might have screamed, I didn’t know. She…hissed. I heard fabric tear. She ripped my shirt off my shoulder. Something cold and hard ripped into my skin. That time I knew I screamed. Then it stopped. The pulling of my hair stopped, the breathing on my neck stopped. I slowly opened my eyes. She was gone.

I stood up, blood running down my arm. I put my hand on the cut, trying to stop the bleeding as I ran back into the woods in the way I thought lead back to Bella’s house. I saw something out of the corner of my eye. Was that a…wolf? My foot caught on a root. I felt myself falling. I heard a howl, it was a wolf. I should have hit the ground. But something caught me. Something warm. Or someone.

Something was beeping. What was it? And that smell. Bleach. I was in a hospital, again. I heard people talking. It sounded like Bella, but who was she talking to?

“Is she going to be ok?” That was Bella, she sounded a little worried and maybe even a little scared.

“I think so.” Dr Cullen, Carlisle. “She has a mild concussion, both bones in her wrist are broken, I put twenty-five stitches in her shoulder, and her cheek is going to be sore for a few days. It could have been a lot worse. She’s lucky to be alive.” A broken arm? That explained why it felt so heavy. But why didn’t anything hurt? They must have given me some pretty powerful pain killers.

“What happened?” Bella again. She seemed almost afraid of the answer. But why? I knew they would wont to know what happened. What was I going to tell them? I couldn’t say some psycho who acted like she wasn’t human tried to kill me. Or that I saw wolfs as big as small horses. Who would believe me? For all I knew the wolfs might be the reason I’m still alive. Maybe they scared the woman away. Seeing a wolf that size would scare any normal person. But was she normal? She had apparently broken my wrist by squeezing it. Could a normal woman her size do that? She wasn’t much taller than me. But if she wasn’t human, what was she?

I was pulled out of my thoughts when someone, who’s voice I didn’t recognize answered Bella.

“You weren’t doing your job.” Who was that? What job? Who was he talking to? Whoever he was, he must know Bella of he wouldn’t be here.

“We did our job,” someone seethed. I think it was Edward. That answers the question of who the stranger was talking to.

“Then why is she in the hospital?” The stranger demanded.

“Jake,” that was Bella. So the guys name is Jake. I wonder if he’s the Jacob Bella mentioned in one of her emails. If he was a lot had changed in a few months.

“He knows the boundaries. I’m only here because Charlie asked us to help look for her. Your lucky he did. Your leeches never would have found her in time. And even if they had, they probably would have killed her.” It sounded like Jake was moving away. That or he was just lowering his voice.

“Aren’t you going to stay until she wakes up?” Bella again. Were Bella, Edward, and Jake the only people in the room with me? I didn’t hear Carlisle leave.

“Why? So that if I ever find her body I’ll be able to remember what she looked like alive? No thank you.”

“Jacob,” Bella sighed. So it was the same person she had told me about. “She doesn’t know.” There was silence for a moment. What don’t I know?

“Are you going to tell her?” Jake had moved closer, much closer.

“No, you know the rules,” Bella said quietly. What rules? What were they talking about?

“Her life is in danger now too Bella, she has a right to know.” Someone growled, maybe Edward.

“Then you tell her,” Bella snapped.

“You know I can’t, but if I could…” Jake sighed. Would he tell me if he could? And why couldn’t he? “I hope you know what your doing.” I felt something hot brush against my un-injured cheek. “If she dies, it will be one your head Bella, yours and the blood suckers.”

Silence again. I felt someone take my hand. Probably Bella. Blood suckers? What did that mean? Why was my life in danger now too? But more importantly, who else was in danger?

“We’ll keep her safe,” Edward said quietly. Safe from what? I wanted to scream. Why was everyone being so cryptic?

I heard the door open, someone else walked in.

“How is she?” Uncle Charlie. I bet I gave him a scare.

“She’s getting stronger. She lost a lot of blood. But she will be fine, a little sore for a few days but she’ll be fine.” That was Carlisle. At least I was going to be fine, physically. Emotionally? I don’t know. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to get that woman’s face out of my mind.

“Maybe I should call her parents.” No! Charlie couldn’t call my parents, not now. I only had two months left of school and things were getting very interesting.

“No,” I rasped. I sounded just as bad as I felt.

“Chloe?” It was Bella. I opened my eyes slowly. “hi.”

"Carlisle, she’s awake.” I looked around briefly as Carlisle walked over to me.

“How are you feeling?” I closed my eyes. Was her seriously asking that? I had a broken arm and my shoulder was throbbing. And that was with the pain killers. I slowly opened my eyes.
“Horrible, everything hurts.” I looked around the room. Charlie was standing behind Carlisle on one side. On the other side was Bella, Edward, Alice, and Jasper. They were all staring at me. “But I’ll be fine,” I said quickly, I couldn’t let Charlie call my parents.

“We were so worried,” Alice said as she walked closer. I stared at her. Worried? She didn’t even like me. This must be for Bella’s benefit. Did any of them really care?

“what happened?” I looked at Bella. I couldn’t tell them the truth. They would never believe me.

“I…I don’t remember.”

Bella smiled, “that’s fine. We’re just glad you’re going to be ok.”

I spent the rest of the day pretending to sleep and replaying the conversation I had over heard in my head. Blood sucker? Leeches? What did that mean? If it was meant literally that would mean that they suck, or possibly, drink, blood. But that was impossible. Which meant…what? I needed to figure it out. Or at least have a good enough idea that I could get someone to tell me. Jacob. I needed to talk to him. He seemed to want me to know what was going on. Maybe he would tell me. But I would have to find him first. And to do that I would need to come up with a good reason as to why I needed to see him.

I spent the next two days sitting in the Hospital. Most of my time I spent sleeping or reading. Bella had brought me three of my favorite books. Pride and Prejudice, The Old Man and the Sea, and A Tale of Two Cities. She also brought me a copy of Wuthering Heights. Though I have no clue why. According to Carlisle my shoulder was healing nicely, whatever that meant. I had stopped taking painkillers after day one. My shoulder constantly hurt now, but at least I wasn’t constantly sleeping.

I was finally getting released from the hospital today. I had spent a total of three nights and almost four days there. Someone would be here soon to pick me up. I had all of my stuff together, clean clothes on, and my arm in a sling. And I had to go to school tomorrow. I missed one day and Charlie was panicking. I think he’s afraid my parents will find out. But really, one day? It doesn’t matter. Someone is outside my room. Finally. I’m being rescued. But who was it? The voice was familiar but I couldn’t remember who it was. My door opened, Jasper walked in. I stared at him for a moment. What was he doing here?

“Hello,” he said smiling. “Are you ready to go?”

I stared at him blankly. “Go? Go where?”

He laughed. “I’m taking you home.” Was he joking? One look at his face told me he was serious. I stood up and grabbed my bag.

“Then lets go.”

We walked to my car. MY CAR! Why was he driving my car!?

“Mine was in the garage.” I glared at him. I thought I saw him smirk. I got in my car, still glaring at him.

I had planned on glaring at him the whole way back to the house but I couldn’t once he started talking. He told me about his family, how they were all adopted, and Alice was his soul mate. I learned more about his family in the twenty minutes I spent with him than the month that I had been here. He told me so much and Bella was reluctant to tell me anything. Why? Was Bella just mad that I was here? Or was it more complicated than that?

Jasper parked in front of the house. Bella was still at school and Charlie was at work.

“Thanks for the ride, Jasper.”

“You are very welcome, Chloe.” I walked inside and locked the door behind me, It was nice to be home. I went up stairs and grabbed my laptop. Hopefully Google would be able to help.

After half an hour of searching I was no closer to an answer. If anything I was even more confused. The door down stairs opened. Bella was back from school. I waited about twenty minutes before I headed down the stairs. I heard Bella in the kitchen. I walked to the door of the kitchen and stopped. It wasn’t just Bella, Edward was with her.
