Reepicheep dies?

Okay, I was listening to the NarniaWeb podcast (Number 25, to be exact), and glumPuddle said something about Reepicheep dying in Prince Caspian. Can anybody confirm or deny this? Also, what are your feelings on that subject?
 
Well, in the book he is almost dead if not mostly dead when Lucy takes her cordial to him at Aslan's urging.
 
He does not die in Prince Caspian. On the Voyage of the Dawn Treader he goes into Aslan's Country alive after the Dawn Treader crosses the Great Eastern Sea.
 
People do have this instinct to ruin good things. When an animated movie was made of "Watership Down," they had a likeable rabbit character die in the movie even though he didn't die in the book.
 
I don't think that he dies because I think I read somewhere that the guy contracted to do his voice had a contract for Dawn Treader as well.
 
I don't think they can kill of Reepicheep completely. 1) He does have to appear in Dawn Treader 2)Douglas Gresham wouldn't allow them to stray sooooo very far away from the actual story. Maybe in the movie he'll die, but then they bring him back to life to add to the excitement/emotional aspect. I mean, this is Hollywood. They have been known to tweek things for the sake of getting a bigger audience.
 
Killing Reep in this movie will be one of the dumbest things ever in the history of movie making. He plays a very prominent part in VoDT.
 
Don't worry. They'll just reload the mouse driver. :D

I have a feeling glumPuddle was kidding. I don't think they kill Reepicheep and if they do they'll have Aslan bring him back or something. He has to be in VDT. One can't miss that! Maybe gP can take a break from NW and come on here to explain that better. We'll see. He's full of actual spoilers after going to the set...but I think that comment was in jest. If he doesn't explain it himself on here I'll try to ask him about it soon.

Just a thought. Since Disney is a part of this movie, do you think they'll let Reep, a mouse, die? I would think Mickey would have something to say about that!

I think if they did do that that it would be there biggest mistake in making a movie in there history. they would not be able to make the voage of the dawn treader and it just would set everybody off everywhere.

I thought that was the case, and now that it's cleared up, there's no need to further aweful thoughts of horrid changes to the story. We'll get rid of this rumor sooner rather than later.
