Feel free to make use of this thread, if you so choose, to notify us about when you are planning to be gone or unavailable to RP for a time.

We recognize that always, always, always real life comes first, and will be accommodating. When possible, it is usually a good idea, when you know that will be the case, to post moving you character somewhere they are not likely to be required/disturbed to continue the RP.
 
This is a sorely needed thread.

Allow me to make a proactive post in case of coming forced absences (e.g. if needed to care for my parents in Illinois). Note the following "Let It Snow" characters whom I have played in some capacity:

Ninecatcher and Gripstone, tigers.
Laertes and his brother Orestes, fauns.
Retaw, gryphon.
Woefulgut, marshwiggle.
Weavewisp, chickadee.
Goewyn, Pindra, and accompanying children, Narnian human refugees.
Vandrick the tanner and his family, Archenlanders.

At any time, if I am announced on this thread as absent, or even if I simply don't post on the roleplay for two days or longer, and if my absence is tying other people's hands, I do not merely consent, I positively REQUEST, that someone go right ahead and make MY characters perform the action that is needed to end the gridlock. It isn't hard at all to look at previous posts and check on the personalities of my characters (mostly noble and heroic, of course), in order to be consistent with the personalities I gave them. As long as no one does a Walden Media distortion on my characters, like having Ninecatcher start eating people, I will be just fine with such borrowing BY ANY FELLOW PLAYER.
 
I am going to to go a head and post this now so that all are prepared. On Thursday night of this week, I will be packing up my computer so that it can be put in the car early Friday morning. While I still should be able to get on at that time, I will probably be off before 11:30PM (eastern time) on Thursday until probably about 5-6 PM Central Time on Friday. It is not the longest absence on the face of the planet but I will be almost completely offline then. During that time, I will be making my way back to school.

The Characters that this will impact are:

For Silver and Sovreigns:

Moonwright, the so-far-absent centaur

For Snow:

Sulfáe, the Narnian talking Eagle
Longtail, Limtal talking Tiger
Ava, Orse, and family, Narnian talking Arctic Foxes
Dar and Mathan, Human refugees (also sometimes played by CF)

And I think that is it.

If needed to further the game while I am gone, I give people to right to play any of my characters. I really don't care what my NPCs do. With Ava, Longtail, Sulfáe, and Moonwright, please be sure that if you play them, you keep them going along the same path/character traits that I have set up.

Well the summer season is over and I think things in my life are *finally* settling down for a while. Sorry for not having posted on here for a while, but I hope I can get back into the swing of things!

I'll go read for a bit to figure out where Icefang and co are and where the story is at! =)
 
I expect to be visiting my parents in Illinois soon. So I reiterate: ANY player in "Snow" who has a legitimate reason to do so, is entirely welcome to make ANY of my characters perform any action that is more or less consistent with their personalities.
 
OOC: I hereby state that in the battle (and other fast paced action scenes that maybe coming up) with the battle that is surely upcoming. Copperfox may slip into Marius's role to save him from danger, blade or ect, if I am not here.

I specifically have said if Such a time comes and I am not able to play Marius, (My worries mostly about the battle and fast paced scenes or chase or ectleading up to it) please play him in a noble and heroic manner. I'm not sure I want my general stone or such just yet. (more likely dead,) Just do your best to keep him in and free if you can? (Would hate for battle to be raging and he be sitting there doing nothing.
 
Not going to be on all day today or tomorrow, it is my fall break and I am going camping. Like I said before, if some needs my characters to do something, I give you permission to play them, but please hold to the traits and mannerisms I have set up for them.
 
Just to let everyone know, I killed off Drainor.

In addition to not having the time to play him, I felt that his purpose was sort of killed once Jadis AND the Narnians turned against him. As "entertaining" as it is having a werewolf go on a killing spree, it gets old after awhile. I kinda didnt know what to do with the character, so I felt like it was time to kill him, so people wouldnt be left hanging.

I will be in absentia from this Saturday to next Sunday. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. If you need me for RP purposes, post before Saturday 10am Pacific and I'll do my best to respond. Otherwise, see you all at the end of March!
 
I think I will be abstaining from RPing for the next 6 weeks, feel free to move my characters around. I might get on every once in a while just to catch up but until this semester is over y'all can expect to see a lot less of me. I doubt I will be at the other parts of this forum either. I went from a D to an F in one of my classes and it is scaring me. If I keep that grade, I will lose scholarships; I will lose grad school chances; I will lose potential job oppurtunities. I need to cut back and focus more on this class. Four A's and an F does not look good on a resume to anywhere. Sorry guys.
 
I have said it before and I will repeat it: real life comes first. No apologies, and I'm proud of you for directing your focus elsewhere. *hugs* You'll be welcomed back whenever you find yourself able to rejoin us.
 
Welcome back, Sim! Speaking of which...I started a new job this week. Between adjusting to that schedule (and I have no computer access at work) and rehearsing for two shows that are coming up in April, my life is about to get even more crazy.

Please bear with me. I'll be here as much as I can. I know Eph's in a similar boat. Your patience is appreciated.

Frankly, I'm exhausted and will about at my limit stress-wise for the next month or so. These are all good changes, though, so I'm encouraged.
 
Hi there all,

I just wanted to drop you all a quick note to let you know that what limited RPing I had been doing will almost be stopped completely for the time being. I just had a person above me retire from their job before the year had ended, and wound up taking over their spot in exchange for a very generous pay raise. As much as I have enjoyed being able to RP off and on with all of you, I will be away for the next couple of months while I finish out my job.

P.S. - Anyone else is more than welcome to take up playing Icefang until I return. I only ask that you prevent him from being killed off if possible.

So, yeah, my resolve to stay of my social networking sites did not work. I guess I will come back. I will play Icefang for you, KoN.
