Well, I said I'd do it, so here it is!

(Some one tell me how to ask a mod how to make a group!)

Sean (Shawn) Astin plays Samwise Gamgee.
This is for both Sam fans and Sean fans.

(Oh, man this is akward!)

Um.. anyone else?

I'm so glad you did this! Sometimes I feel so left out because Sam is my favorite character in any book and most people prefer people like Aragorn or Gandalf. :D

Count me in as well! :) Samwise is just so brave and sweet. I love him dearly. :) Let us speak of this wonderful hobbit and actor now. :D

Sam and Frodo balance themselves out, and Sam's dislike of Gollum (Oh, poor Smeagol!), well founded to say the least!

I love the scene where Frodo's asleep on Sam's lap and Gollum's looking on and it's so pitiful. Then Sam wakes up and ruins the moment, but there comes that line-
"Well, we'll soon be tired of that word."

I think I'll be Smeagol for the rest of the day.
"Oh, Grey Pilgrim, don't hurt poor Master. He's holding the Precious. Yes, you musn't hurt poor, weak Master."

I dunno. He is kinda distinct in that blond hair, but isn't he a Fallowhide?
(They sometimes have blond hair.)
Besides, how would Elenor have golden hair if her father wasn't blond?
(maybe her mom...)

Both my sister and her husband have very dark hair and all their children are blondish so.... According to the books Frodo had the lightest hair of all four hobbits. Sam was dark but I must admit I don't mind. If I would redirect LOTR I would cast Sean Astin again. He was a very great Sam.
 
The books said after Sam came home and Sprinkled the dirt from Galadriel's garden into the air the plants grew better and more Hobbit children had blonde hair.
