hello all,
i have a question for whoever knows the awnser. this is the second book in the series i believe, and i was wondering if this was going to be the next film made of the chronicles? so my question is what is the next one to be made into a movie?

thank youuu,
Mar:)

Yeah, its supposedly Caspian. Which order are you talking about by the way? Written order or the other order, the way they're kind of meant to be read?
Other order by the way if you don't know is
Magican's Nephew
Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe
The Horse and His Boy
Prince Caspian
Voyage of the Dawn Treader
The Silver Chair
The Last Battle.
I'm not sure why but it may be to get more people interested so they ask questions and that would get more people to go see the more "boring" ones. The ones without as much action (MN, THHB, LB) there's more explaining and such. Even though I find Caspian more "boring". No offense but THHB is my fav.

I hope they're all filmed, in publishing order.

I'll be happy if I get to see Dawn Treader, THHB, and the Magician's Nephew. THHB and MN are my 2 favorites in the series...and DT would make a very good movie if done correctly with all the islands and such.

To Mar and Lucy, publication order was different than the order your books are numbered. Alot of the people who have been reading these books for years have read them in the order that they were published. I, personally, think they're better to read in this order. The order your set are numbered in makes them line up chronologically but doesn't tell the story as well I don't think.

Publication order was:

1) The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe
2) Prince Caspian
3) The Voyage of the Dawn Treader
4) The Silver Chair
5) The Horse and His Boy
6) The Magician's Nephew
7) The Last Battle

I've never liked LB, so I'll just be happy if I get to see books 3-6.

I completely agree with Corin Thunder-Fist (besides not liking LB  )!!! I like it the way it was originally published, too. :p

Let me just clarify that I didn't mean to say that I didn't like that book, it's just not one of the books that I adore. The whole story with everyone being fooled by the fake Aslan into doing abominable things that lead to the destruction of Narnia is simply a terrible story to read. I don't like the story because of it. Is it believable? Yes. Do all things need to come to an end? Yes. Do I like reading it? No

By the way, from the location on your profile I see that we are roommates. I was wondering why the food seemed to be disappearing faster nowadays. I thought perhaps the duffers had gone invisible again and gone to raiding my cupboards.

The next movie is Prince Caspian set for 2007.

That's all anyone (even the director and producer) knows.

Yeah, I also want to see Horse and his Boy as a movie. I originally read these books years ago, and THHB was my least-favorite. Now that I am reading it again, I actually loved it. I think it would be especially cool to see Tashbaan and the battle. I wonder whether they would show it just looking at the battle or from the hermit's pool. Prince Caspian will still rock though.

They r doing prince caspian because it is the only one (besides LWW) with all 4 of them in it...
