Since the sister of Mighty Male has been mentioned, let us have a look at what she's doing before we return to the mess on Redundantworld. Some evildoers are imprisoned on Anoxia, where Dragon Equivvalentor hopes to convert them to goodness.
The Fataldeathalyzers, Nomatterwhatlers, Everperpetualists and Omnipotentacons all had been served notice that they were not immune to consequences for their greed and smugness. Shoshok Foozath of the bird-headed Nomatterwhatlers had been slain in a fight he started, slain by Thorpe's old hammer Oatmealnir, this wielded by Ballwun the Uncommonly Decent who was worthy to handle it. Meanwhile, the gender-neutral Omnipotentacons, the ones with three pairs of eyes vertically stacked, the ones active in the southern hemisphere, had been the first to say openly to natives that those natives might be inducted into military service, like non-human Janissaries. They were also the first of the trespassing races to have a sample of their genes fall into the hands of the good guys: specifically the hands of The Inquiry, a man from "Terra."
Two major monsters, Kaijusaurus and Aqua-Scorpion, which had been revived at the Rock of Banality, were now (I'm pretty sure) in captivity on Planet Awkwardlisp, where King Truthside could prevent them from harming anyone. Three more-or-less- human evildoers, Lowblow, Deathstink and Hipstera, were now in the custody of Dragon Equivvalentor on Planet Anoxia. The magic sword formerly belonging to Deathstink, by consensus of many heroes, had been presented to Kirk "Doc" Slippage, so that henceforth he would have something to help him against outright supernatural threats. (He had the skill to use it, though not usually a swordsman in practice.)
Before expanding further, we detour to Anoxia, to see how the Dragon of Reasonableness is taking care of correctional business. Astrosmeller of Jumpstard, using his own Rainbow Bridge variant, has transported the Anoxian good-girl Winkyblue back home to assist Equivvalentor.
<<<<<<<<<<
On the noble dragon's ocean-island headquarters, Winkyblue was greeted by a former not-really-serious enemy, and an always-was friend. The latter was the sapient reptile Crocodarla, who was also a friend to Battery-Cat's family; the former was the human female scientist Interrupta who had previously served the super-villain Crowdhack. The only time either woman had engaged in any sort of combat had been when Winkyblue accompanied She-Wow in a campaign against Crowdhack's industrial base.
Winkyblue had randomly encountered Interrupta inside a factory which was manufacturing bogus vending machines that would cheat people. The two had felt vaguely that they were supposed to fight each other, so they had feebly scuffled for a moment. Even this much pretend combat had upset both of them, and they had soon been sobbing on each other's shoulders. Upon the evil factory being neutralized, Interrupta had been permitted to join She-Wow's retinue. Ever since then, any time either woman felt sad or disturbed about anything, they had gone right to hugging and weeping.
After they were done with their latest crying session, Crocodarla briefed Winkyblue about Equivvalentor's progress trying to reform Deathstink, Lowblow and Hipstera. Several of She-Wow's troops were standing nearby, all armed with the most potent rayguns available, which ought to put some hurts even on Lowblow at need. "None of them is really sorry for the evil they've done," said the brainy crocodile. "As the least powerful of the three, especially since his magic sword was taken from him, Deathstink is at least pragmatically considering the survival value of accepting correction. Hipstera is coldly sulking, but Lowblow is laughing and bragging about how he's becoming even more powerful from being defeated again."
Interrupta wiped her eyes and contributed this much to the report: "Lowblow has a long way to go before he might be able to defeat the Dragon of Reasonableness, but he is gaining strength." She went on to offer Crocodarla such insights as she could give on the subject of evildoers crossing over to the side of good. Winkyblue then did what amounted to an x-ray study of all three evil beings' anatomy, telling the long-tailed heroine any unusual details she could identify.
Shortly after that, for the first time during this visit, Equivvalentor spoke up from somewhere below:
"Lowblow has no conscience, nor fear: a textbook sociopath. He knows that I am capable of making him thoroughly dead, but he thinks that my 'weakness' of mercy will enable him to turn the tables if I give him a little more time to get stronger. Interrupta, I want you to go back to Redundantworld with Winkyblue; this demon mercenary doesn't look like repenting. There's no way he could ever kill me here in my place of power; but since he claims that he will soon be able-- to behave rather impolitely toward you-- I want you and Winkyblue far away from here."
<<<<<<<<<<<<
Astrosmeller, counterpart of the Hallpasscardean sentry Timekall, took on the job of shifting the two women from Galaxy One to Galaxy Three. As he was setting them down on an open space in Redundantworld's spacious temperate zone, he mentally messaged: Interrupta, I'm giving you plotline-convenient language- comprehension ability for this planet, as was already done for your bee-eff-eff. When you land, have Winkyblue look in a direction just right from the direction she'll be facing when her feet touch soil. She'll find an artificially- built object. I remotely smell that the object contains a volatile substance, possibly intended to produce something like a fuel-air detonation. If it proves to be something that you know how to disarm safely, use your own discretion, but look out first for your safety and Winkyblue's. You can always just mark off the location, and let Thorpe or Bakerstray Bill deal with it.
Many minutes later, about the same time as Interrupta decided it was better to leave the unknown device alone, Astrosmeller contacted them again, reporting that one human male with profound anatomical alterations, and a human female who was normal apart from notably enhanced bodily strength, were coming toward the just-arrived women's location. "Side of good," the canine super-sentry concluded, then fell silent, having other events to monitor.
The newcomers proved to be strangers to the two just-arrived women. The man, unusually enlarged and with a bald scalp (though his formerly-missing nose had been regenerated), was Martin Alpert, also known as Atomic Scalp. His most remarkable improvement from his former villainous life was that his head was no longer engulfed in flame. Instead, his armpits featured flame vents. By leaning back a bit, he could shoot flame at enemies in front of him; alternately, he could use his armpits like rocket nozzles, to fly over short distances. His bodily might remained around three- quarters that of his former enemy Superdude.
The woman was Ululani Atuf Alpert, an astronaut who had worked on the Tachyon Loop circuit, and who had fallen in love with the ex-villain for his inner goodness. If I remember correctly, I said that Matthew Carver on Urth had used the magical Dice-Aract`to bestow the strength of seven strong independent wammuns upon Ululani-- which, with her existing brains and skill, would make her useful in her husband's adventures as an associate of the Justified League.
After introductions, and after Ululani had studied the explosive device herself, all four good-aligned characters agreed: just blow the goldanged thing up. Martin prevented any harm to anyone by absorbing the explosive force. This done, the Alperts and the two teary ladies exchanged background information, and proceeded in the direction the Alperts had been going: to link up with some other good guys. After the first forty-five minutes on the march, both Anoxian women became weary. Martin was large enough to carry them on his shoulders, and did so. Ululani realized that Winkyblue and Interrupta were nowhere near as fit as she had been even before she had been strengthened, and was not jealous of his courteous gesture to them,
After almost a full hour more, during which local animals passed by without bothering the four travelers, two other travelers came into sight.
Flying.
One of these, a human male, wore a sort of green-and-white jumpsuit, and had a green-glowing prosthesis on the back of his left hand. The other, a near-enough-human female, resembled an Earthling Polynesian woman. She had a red jumpsuit, and a red gem adhered to her forehead. All four hikers recognized the flying man as a Green Flashlight, and the Alperts knew about Heart Sapphires. No threat, then. "I believe that the man is Parbellik Magta," said Martin, "a non-Urthly human; which would make the woman his Dahudoran wife, Gambisu Luvardra, surname first with Dahudorans. They're obviously friendlies."
Ululani spoke up next. "Those clashing color-spheres made it unclear, but they're carrying a third humanoid with them."
