we had a SW trivia thread a while ago, but I think it's high time we had an ST trivia thread. :D

RULES:
1. wait your turn to ask question(s); please wait until the answer(s) have been confirmed before asking another question.

2. If you ask a question concerning a show's\movie's quote, please either change the language in it, or leave the language out. I believe this would also include starting a word then ***** starring it.

So, the first question is pretty easy:

What is the 'serial' number to every Enterprise?

Good grief! you started with a very hard question! I am going to say NCC 1701 but I am also going to go look it up. I may be back and edit my answer.
:)

I edited it - Wiki says I am right!

Oh, cool!

OK, here is my trivia question:

In ToS, the episode called "The Naked Time," what was the name of the lieutenant who took over the ship from engineering, locked himself in, and kept singing "Kathleen" over the com system?

First and Last Name

LOL! Now I want to see that episode!!!!!

Oh no, no one has seen it! it is one of my favorites!

OK, the same young man appeared int he episode "The Conscience of the King" about Kodos the Executioner or whatever -- only Kirk and this lieutenant were left as survivors of the massacre and could actually identify Kodos ...

OK, my guy in ToS was named Kevin Riley, and when he got all goofed up in "Naked Time," he kept shouting, "This is CAPTAIN Riley here!" over the com system. It's hilarious.

I will try some easier trivia, then, from TNG ...

What does Picard's family do for a living on earth?

*just a side note, y'all are allowed to look up\research your answer*

Didn't Picard mention it in Nemesis? I'm thinking he did but naturally I can't remember.

I don't know ... I hope I got it right ... I remember seeing him revert back to doing this same thing himself on the episode where he kept slipping around in time -- "All Good Things," I think.

Yes, grapes! They were vintners, I believe -- they made wine. But I will accept grape farmers. Your turn. :)

This may be a little tougher, but it's from STar Trek: First contact,

What was the date of the Vulcans' historic landing on Earth? *hint: it's mentioned in the first few minutes of First contact*

bridgecommander.filefront.com said:
April 5, 2063 Zefram Cochrane pilots Earth's fist warp capible spacecraft. April 5, 2063 First contact between Humans and Vulcans - ...
I googled it! In the movie though, things are so bad on earth! Yikes!

OK, from the movies ... what planet was the villain in Nemesis from, and what species was he?
