Star Wars taken the opposite way (May contain spoilers)

Has anyone ever wondered what Star Wars would be like if Anakin resisted trying to save Padme? Would She still die, or do you think her will to live lies in Anakin? Would the Dark side find another apprentice as strong as Anakin?

It's like asking, "What would have happened if Anakin died in the PodRace?" Well, Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan would have gotten off planet about five years later, and the Trade Federation wuld have taken over Naboo. Padme would have married some other guy, and Qui-Gon would not have died. Luke and Leia wouldn't have ever been born, the Republic would have most likely stood, and the Clone Wars would never have happened. All in all, (to answer your question and to answer what I just wrote), there would have been no story.

Or even on a smaller scale, what would have happened if the Tuskens didn't quite kill Anakin's mom? And he got her home and nursed her back to health? Then there would probably be no vader, no empire.

I have wondered what might have been (or not been, as others have stated) if Anakin hadn't traveled the path that he took. I agree: there'd be no storyline whatsoever.

He actually started his slide towards the Dark Side in Ep. 2 when his mom died and he took revenge on the Tusken Raiders. It didn't start in Ep. 3, it started long before that. Like a slow cave-in, it had to have started sometime before Ep. 3 for him to have fallen so quickly.

I trust you then. :) Btw, I'm going to post more of my story later. It's going oh so slowly.

Just a suggestion, tell people not to comment on it tell a chapter has been written. Then you won't be interupted all the time. But then again it is your story....
