Aerrow, the daring leader of the group and Sky Knight. He is a fourteen year old human with bright, messy red hair. Despite his youth, he's one of the most talented Sky Knights.
Radarr, Aerrow's close friend and co-pilot. Radarr is a creature of indeterminable species, and hates being called a "pet". Radarr has scruffy blue fur and yellow eyes.
Piper, in charge of tactics, navigation, and crystals. She also has excellent combat abilities, and knows nearly everything about Atmos, other Sky Knights, and the inhabitants of Atmos. Piper has dark, warm colored skin and dark hair that could be either black or very dark blue.
Junko, a tough burly character who has a big heart. He's the primary muscle of the group, in charge of "flight engineering and heavy ballistics". He is of a race of warriors called Wallops.
Finn, a wiry, wise-cracking doofus. He's a sharpshooter, and he and Junko are always getting into trouble together, becoming the comic relief pair of the show. With spiky blond hair, this human seems perpetually on a sugar rush, though he tries always to act cool. He has both a surfer's and a skater's personality.
Stork, a carrier pilot and gadget specialist with crippling paranoia that causes him to know a lot more than his teammates think, and it's gotten them out of several pickles. He has a slim build and green skin with varying shades. His appearance with its sharp yet flat facial structure is somewhat feline-like, but he is of an alien species called a 'Merb'. He has two piercings on his left ear, and long black hair that goes down the right side of his face and sticks up at the back. He is often quite pessimistic. Though his first appearance made him seem menacing, it was soon shown that Stork is an easily frightened, meek young Merb. He has also stated that he is only a member of the Storm Hawks until "something better comes along." Due to his height, it is speculated that he may possibly be the oldest member of group.
An unofficial member or ally is:
Starling, a female Sky Knight who had been undercover trying to find out what Master Cyclonis was planning. Though she may not be an official Storm Hawk, she is an official Sky Knight, and helps the group out from time to time. She is respected by the Sky Council mostly because of her age and experience, something the council constantly point out that the "Storm Hawks" don't have. It was Starling who vouched for the Storm Hawks after they "allowed" the Aurora Stone to be destroyed (they were originally supposed to have recovered it), and ultimately the Council began to gradually give them their resepct.
