Suggestion for webmaster

This is a lovely forum but I would like to tentatively raise a suggestion that each key actor has a sub area for fans to discuss them. One thread per actor is very cumbersome. Does anyone else agree?
 
I think 1 thread is enough, and Specter (and I'm sure everyone else) doesn't want about 9 threads all about the same person, because it clogs up the forum and takes up bandwidth. I think the Annanites, aslanites, georgites and eustace fans etc. should have their own thread like the Willianites and Skandarnites though. :)
 
I think one thread per actor/character is enough but not too many. It was really crazy before there were threads devoted to each actor because we had seemingly thousands of threads about a couple of the more popular actors all over the forum in no organized fashion. This made finding the threads you really wanted to read much more difficult. It also allowed those who liked other actors/characters to have a common place to discuss that actor/character. I think the current system is working fine and I applaud the mods for deveoloping it.
 
Here's a thought for you. The Chronicles of Narnia were around for way longer than the actors in the recent Walden Media movie. Longer than their parents were, if you can believe it!

This is a forum for Narnia fans. And while certainly the work of the four youths in the Walden Media film had a great impact on the Narnia fandom, and there should be a thread for each of them, the forum should be thought of as a tree with its roots in CS Lewis and every topic on it should have at least a tiny bit of relationship to this root. We have two exceptions to that...dufferdom and the writing club.
