20th Century Fox Logo appears accompanied by the sound of ominous, rushing winds. Quickly fade out. (3 sec)
Quickly fade in. (Enter music-mysterious tone). The Lone Islands. King Caspian and Lord Bern gaze eastward, from atop the highest rock of Avra, onto a vast glimmering silver sea. Quickly fade out. (2 sec)
Quickly fade in. Walden Media Logo appears (music continues). Quickly fade out. (2 sec)
Quickly fade in. Bedroom of Scrubb Residence. Edmund, Lucy, and Eustace gaze into a breathtaking picture of a sailing ship. (2 sec)
Fade to black. The words slowly appear: “THIS CHRISTMAS…” (3 sec)
The Lone Islands. An aerial sweep reveals the ongoing hustle and bustle that surrounds Governor Gumpas’ seaside palace. (2 sec)
Eastern Sea. The royal vessel Dawn Treador, its purple sails filled with wind, moves swiftly on open blue waters. (2 sec)
Fade to black. The words slowly appear: “…A VOYAGE…WILL BEGIN...” (3 sec)
Pause. Enter voiceover of children shouting. (2 sec)
Bedroom of Scrub Residence. Waves pour through the enlarging picture, the ship inside it begins moving, and violent winds sweep up the children, who continue shouting, inside its frame. (4 sec)
Fade to black. The words slowly appear: “…FRIENDS…WILL BE REUNITED...” (3 sec)
The deck of Dawn Treador. Caspian and the Pevensies exchange greetings, while Eustace looks on jealously. Caspian: “Lucy! Edmund! How wonderful to have you back in Narnia!” (4 sec)
Fade to black. The words slowly appear: “AND A QUEST…WILL BE UNDERTAKEN.” (3 sec)
The deck of Dawn Treador. All facing East, into the wind, Caspian (alongside Edmund, Lucy, Eustace, Reepicheep, Drinian and Rynelf) declares: “I am on a great mission…(the three children look toward Caspian with intrigue)…to find the seven lords of Narnia… (close-up on Caspian, who pauses in solemnity)…banished years ago, to these unknown waters...” (8 sec)
Fade to black. Pause. Fade into montage (Music changes suddenly to an epic tone). (3 sec)
Eastern Sea. An immense sea serpent bearing sharp fangs dives headlong toward the deck of Dawn Treador. (1 sec)
Dragon Island. Clad in sterling gilded armour, Caspian, on beach with sword drawn, slowly moves toward the arm (and the golden band it bears) of a fierce dragon. (1 sec)
Coriakin’s Island. Lucy cautiously opens a magician’s book. (1 sec)
The Lone Islands. Edmund clashes swords with a slave-trader. (1 sec)
Dragon Island. Within a cave, Eustace, half-covered in green scales, emerges greedily from a pile of treasure. (1 sec)
Deathwater Island. Caspian and Edmund struggle in attempts to throw the other into the unforgiving depths of a lagoon. (1 sec)
Coriakin’s Island. Dufflepuds bounce with excitement. (1 sec)
Eastern Sea. A dark mist engulfs the Dawn Treador. (1 sec)
Ramandu’s Island. The star’s daughter approaches King Caspian. (1 sec)
The Lone Islands. Wrought with fear, Lucy and Gael run, along the grassy sands, for their lives. (1 sec)
Coriakin’s Island. Dozens of arrows appear out of thin air, catching the beachfront Narnians by surprise. (1 sec)
Eastern Sea. A mountainous island appears before an enormous sunrise. (1 sec)
Dragon Island. Eustace surfaces from a smarting well, gasping for breath. (1 sec)
Eastern Sea. Lucy peers over the side of Dawn Treador. (1 sec)
Eastern Sea. Merpeople, gliding on seahorses, travel to a coral kingdom resting on the ocean floor. (1 sec)
Eastern Sea. Caspian dives from the deck of his ship toward three human swimmers. (1 sec)
Eastern Sea. A skyward dragon sweeps toward Dawn Treador, breathing a deadly stream of fire. (1 sec)
The deck of Dawn Treador. Reepicheep valiantly jumps onto the main deck with his sword in-hand. (1 sec)
Eastern Sea. The Dawn Treador floats into a sea of lilies. (1 sec)
The music culminates in a victorious tone, and from atop the cliffs of an island, the camera zooms out and rotates, rapidly, to reveal the enormous Eastern Sea, and the words appear: “THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA” followed by the words “THE VOYAGE OF THE DAWN TREADOR.” (12 sec)
