I am watching this movie for the umteenth time and I just noticed something I never noticed before. In the scene where Lucy first sees Mr. Tumnus and Mr. Tumnus says "You Must Be Some Kind Of Beardless Dwarf?" Lucy says "I'm Not A Dwarf... and right after that you hear Mr. Tumnus say "Yeah Well", or "Hmmm, Well" like he doesn't believe her. I just thought it was funny. :D

OMG HE DOES!!! lol x

LOL! Like he really thought she was some kind of beardless dwarf, or like Oh, well, honest mistake .... That's so cute. :)

I laughed a bit about Mr. Beaver countering Mrs. Beaver's "Can't you give me seven minutes?" with "I'd give you seven days if it would help!" Why? Because it wasn't a mean spirited remark but a jibe that obviously came from one loved-one to another.

The ability of characters to show love in non-standard ways (not through kissing, hugging or saying "I love you") is critical to making characters truly 3-D.

One of the things Ollie Johnson and Frank Thomas said in their book "Disney Animation: The Illusion of Life" is that showing love without looking silly is the hardest thing to do in all animation. It's equally true about live action film or--for that matter--literature.

And equally true in real life sometimes, eh? :)

Or life! I think I frequently look silly in my expressions of love. :)

Edit: Bah! Songs jumped in ahead of me!

Hehe, I've never noticed that. That's funny.

I think Lucy's "Hmmph" when Edmund says "I got here first!" while they're playing hide and seek is funny.

It's a good thing that Edmund took the spot that Lucy would have taken because then Lucy wouldn't have decided to hide in the wardrobe if she was in the spot Edmund took.
