I find that, if I know the ancient language, I won't have to read the appendix in order to find out what a word or phrase means. It also helps me understand what the words actually mean. (I.E.--Du Fyrn Skulblaka means The Dragon War)I like Inheritance, but not to the point of memorizing the language. I know a couple words though.
Yes. The language has a name, but nobody knows it. Brisingr means fire, adurna means water, traevam means tree, ma'mor means unlock, etc.srry fer double posting but is that the language ERAGON speaks in? like as a dragon rider? like brislinger fer fire?
I make it a point to reread the entire Eldest appendix every night, thus adding knowledge to the ancient language.I know plenty of it...
I know some of it, but I need to reread the prefix suffix things over again....
my memory ios fading...
Feeling really dumb right now..but I thought it was Elvish, like in LOTRS.Yes. The language has a name, but nobody knows it. Brisingr means fire, adurna means water, traevam means tree, ma'mor means unlock, etc.
