The Blue Locust Mystery
Intro Of Joyce Granston And Restaurant Surroundings:
The prestigious and (mostly) wealthy were at The Blue Locust Restaurant, a Chinese restaurant of moderate-good reputation.
There was no larger order then that of Table Five, the Godfellow Table was the reserved name of the table that seated eight people.
Mr. Godfellow was running late, his seat the only one vacant. But, most of the other members of the party, more like gathering then a party, were somewhat relieved that the man whom booked the table by Special Request was not currently there in person. Mr. Godfellow was not a highly desirable man to know.
The restaurant’s décor was also not greatly to be admired, but that was because of the shade of blues that seemed to be the main theme behind the said name.
The tablecloth was a dark satin blue, actually somewhat worthwhile; two tables had been pushed together so as to give enough room for the eight guests. But, the tablecloth itself was overly large and seemed to be adequately covering the two tables nicely.
In each section of seating was a white placemat with empty Chinese dishes and bowls decorated with blue in articulate design that seemed to ring true to the motif of the restaurant. There were forks and spoons respectively on either side of the bowls and dishes, a pair of chopsticks above the dishes and bowls. They had a crest of a blue Chinese symbol that held the chopsticks together. Eight empty and spotless wine glasses were situated on the left hand side of the empty bowls and dishes.
The coupe-de-grace was two slim blue candles, unlit, standing in the middle of the tables and a small bunch of Blue Lotus in a short jar of water.
The head chair at the left was empty, the chairs themselves made of dark oaken wood and lavished with pale blue cushions that were in the seats.
Immediately to the right of the empty head chair was a young woman that had golden hair and blue eyes. Her complexion was fair and her cheeks had a rosy hue to them. This was a woman who took care of herself; despite her adventurous side.
She was tall, around about 5’9 in height and had a slim figure. That was due to her not eating much after her parents had died when she was ten. But, that was okay. She had learnt to look after herself, despite the fact she lived with foster parents who spoiled her rotten. Joyce Granston loved the finer side of life she was living and this restaurant was no exception.

Intro Of Kitty Kings:
To Joyce Granston’s right was the second youngest person at the table, though one would have hardly noticed because of her demeanour. She looked timid and withdrawn, her brown hair was short and her blue eyes seemed to survey the room before bashfully resting at her crossed hands that were upon her lap. She gently held a small cross on a chain that was a wrist bracelet within her fingers, silently praying for the night to be over. In contrast to Joyce, she seemed slightly miniature in stature, despite being 18; she was only 5’4 in height.
Kitty Kings was the daughter of Reverend Kings, a small town Preacher who had eight other children, all of them younger then Kitty.
Kitty had observed from where she was sitting that the group of people seated at the table, herself included, were apparently secluded from the rest of the restaurant. This seemed odd to Kitty but apparently did not seem to stress the other people at the table so she said nothing, as she was accustomed to doing.

Intro Of Eryn Baker:
Sitting to the right of Kitty Kings and at the far end of the bottom-right corner of the table was another tallish young woman; around 5’8 or so, with cream-like skin with slight tanned pigment and had black hair and green eyes.
She seemed to be more commutative then the others, her green eyes seemed to sparkle with animated anticipation of discussion. But, if one delved deeper, one would have seen a small spark of secretive knowing within those eyes, hidden behind the outgoing friendliness that shone from this talkative personality. Eryn Baker’s eyes seemed to be animated; glancing at one of the eight small menu pamphlets that were placed on top of the eight medium-sized Chinese bowls. It was the Appetizers and wine list she was appreciating, the menu all in Chinese writing but that was no roadblock for Eryn, whom had studied the Chinese language in a course of her college overseas. She had just gotten back to Boston and had travelled down to visit her two older brothers, each of whom she says is doing rather well.
Though Eryn knew it was a bit impolite to check the menu before their host had arrived, Eryn could care less, since their host was Mr. Godfellows and felt it best to be ready to order well before the despicable man arrived.
