oh, like I'll forget!

Here is the very beginning I suppose.

-n-F-l-o-w-e-r" Maggie finished typing in her username and password with a content sigh. It had been a few days since her last log-in and she thought she might even be going through withdrawl symptoms. She chuckled. I hope she's on, Maggie thought in growing excitement as she scrolled through the newly replied to Threads on her favorite site, She needs to hear about this. There, of course, had been a reason behind her unaccustomed absence and that reason was one she was bursting to tell a certain friend.
Low and behold only minutes after her log-in a Private message pop-up graced her computer screen. It was titled "Details" and had her favorite Smiley right by it :)D). The sender was a Mrs Gil-Galed Took. Vanessa, who was and would remain Maggie's TDL sister for life. She laughed quietly and clicked open the message.
"Your Back!" Maggie read the message aloud, "How was it? I want to hear everything about my Magsie's wonderful weekend!" Maggie laughed and tried to think of how to fit all her amazing memories into typed words.
The weekend was incredible. It had been the most amazing event she could have ever witnessed. Maggie had been able to get herself tickets to see the most amazing thing ever. Why, Celtic Thunder of course. The experience of seeing them live was one she knew she'd never ever forget.

Short sweet fun... more of course will come. And it WILL be more exciting.

Just so that at least one male will have commented:

I have recently had glimpses of how shallow and fragile the friendships are, and how abundant the ego-tripping is, in some online communities. This makes it comforting and refreshing to be reminded that on Dancing Lawn, REAL affection arises between members.

Thanks Joe! Magsie and me are very close for a couple of years now. I consider her one of my most dearest treasures on the internet ;) And with treasure I mean her whole personality. Pure and wonderful.

More!!!

Maggie typed quickly her response. "oh nessa!!" She wrote happily "It was amazing! They were so much fun to hear live! And to meet!! They are such sweeties... and and I got a HUG!"
This was a huge deal for Maggie, Celtic Thunder was one of her favorite groups and to not only see them live but to meet them was a dream come true. She remembered clearly talking to the two younger members, Keith and Damian, while they signed her program and then got a hug in turn from each of them. I can't remember how I kept from fainting, she thought to herself, giggling. Her voice was sore from screaming and her hands hurt from clapping, but those were worthy prices for that amazing night.
Vanes messaged back right away "Hugs!? You must have been in heaven magsie!" Vanessa new very well Maggie's love for the group.
Maggie was just ready to reply when her mind wandered to something much much more important that she'd be needing to tell her online sister. Not that much could be more exciting than Celtic Thunder, she thought, but this is something Ness really needs to hear.

BRILLIANT!! :D You wrote it so real it could have happened already  I can imagine you doing this and oh boy...we both will get so excited :D I love your story Magsie-Chan!!!

The conversations we have online are going to start being more like as if we're talking because it's easier then talking about typing back and forth.
Yes I can easily see this happening!! More is coming soon BTW

"Nessa I got tickets!" Maggie typed happily.
"Tickets?" Vanessa asked, "Tickets where? To what?"
"To IRELAND!!"
"Ireland? you mean your parents agreed! You're really going!"
Maggie could hardly type straight, "Yes yes yes!!! I'll be going in a few weeks even!"

Maggie was practically jumping out of her seat in anticipation.
A few days before going to see Celtic Thunder she presented the idea to her parents. She had been saving up money for a very long long time and had more than enough for round trip tickets to and from the lovely island. A hotel wouldn't be needed if they rented a camper. That was when the most important detail came in. Maggie remembered how the conversation went.
"You have to be over 21 to rent a car." her mother reminded her sternly, she had been spending the entire conversation looking for reasons to say no.
That surprised Maggie, "well I know, but you'd be coming too."
Her parents exchanged uncomfortable looks. "wouldn't you?" Maggie asked.
"Maggie I know it's August and you're off school but your mom and I are still really busy at work." Her dad informed her.
"You can't take off? for this!?" Maggie exclaimed, "I mean, I can't go alone! I'm not even 16 yet!"
"I was thinking earlier" Her dad went on, "your uncle scott could come over from Germany to show you around. But since he lost his job and moved back here, that's not really possible. We don't know anyone from europe."
Maggie sighed trying to hold back an urge to cry. Something came up in her desperation though, a thought. It probably won't work, she thought, but I have to try.
"Dad, I DO know someone"

Because I love my nessa to death. Forever and ever.

"No..." Her dad said firmly, "absolutely not."
"I don't know," Her mother cut in, sounding surprisingly considering, "It's not a bad idea."
"NOT A BAD IDEA!? Kath, she hardly knows the woman! We're not leaving her with someone like that!"
"Someone like that!" Maggie squeaked, "Vanessa is a lovely wonderful completely sweet woman. I trust her completely."
"You are 15." Her dad said slowly.
"What does that change!?"
Her mom sighed and rubber her temples, "Dear, What do you say I take her to meet this Vanessa before their trip. Make sure I trust her with my daughter."
Her dad coughed, "OUR daughter."
"You want to come too, then?"
Her father sighed, "I might as well."
Maggie beamed, happier than possible. This trip was looking better than ever. Not only would she be in Ireland but with her fantastical older sister! This would be oh so grand!

short but sweet. V, I love you
