The Circle Trilogy - Ted Dekker

Sir Godfrey

Pelegrin Crucis
Thomas Hunter is like any other person, except with one exception.. he lives in two different worlds.

The Circle Trilogy consists of three books; Black, Red, and White. All three books fallow Thomas Hunter's adventures in a world like are own and another world that is remiscant of Narnia. Infact it has been speculated that Ted was inspired by the Chronicles of Narnia while writing this trilogy.

This winter Ted Dekker will be releasing another sequel to the Circle Trilogy titled Green.

oh my goodness I love Ted Dekker's works!!!! I cannot wait until Green comes out!!!

Other books that have to do with the Circle are; Showdown, Saint, Sinner, Skin... and they are all AMAZING! I have read all of them!

I'm really enjoying Black, I find his style of writing very interesting. I must say that since Chapter 2 I have been caught in Dekker's Circle. :D

I haven't read any of TD's Circle Trilogy, but I have read another one of his books: Thr3e. It was actually pretty good. It sort of funny because Ted Dekker was my Geography teacher's wife's cousin at one of the middle schools I went to!

I've read all of the Circle books, plus Saint, (my personal favorite. :D Though, if Sinner lives up to what I think it will, it'll probably be my favorite...that was too much to write in parentheses...:p) Skin, Showdown, & I started Sinner today. :D

haha talk about connections!!!

and yes, Sir Godfrey, Saint and Sinner and Showdown do correlate with the Circle... but you don't figure out how until you read the Lost Books Series... Chosen, Infidel, Renegade, and Chaos.

Circle Trilogy

I am currently reading Red from the circle Trilogy. I have already read Black twice. It is a great Trilogy and I am planning on getting the whole series, the Books of Histories.

Ted Dekker has a way of bringing fantasy into reality, I can see the allegory in the story. And I have a terrible habbit of skimming...and I have the Trilogy in one book so i skip ahead...it's a terrible habbit. Right now I am trying to figure out how Thomas could marry Chelise...or who she is...and how it all fits. But I will have to keep reading on my own to find out.

I think I could have stuck with the Circle Series if it hadn't spanned into so many books. I wish it had stayed a trilogy or gaudrology.
