what do you think about it now? and how've you enjoyed it so far? what have you learned since your stay here? express you comments here!

i think that the forum ain't "Narnia-ey" anymore! hehe... and i've enjoyed it cause i've met new friends and i've learned how to keep them. i also learned what other people are like, what they do, and all that...
 
Well...I'm totally in love with this forum! Everyone here is so lovely and it's so much fun to discuss Narnia with other crazy fans :)D) I'm so happy I found this wonderful place! Thank you everyone for being my best friends!
 
Well, I think that love of Narnia brought us all here, but then we began to learn about each other, and how goofy we were! For my part, I love the fact that I've got a place where I can discuss CSL's thought. It's not the type of discussion you can have at the neighborhood pub, but online, you can!

I agree with PoTW. The discussions we can have here about Narnia and CSL are fun and challenging, and not the sort of thing most people on the street want to or know enough about to discuss.

I have had a narnia discussion in a pub in Germany! HAAA! Well I have learned that there are crazy narnia fans out there and even ones that, like me, want to become the actor who plays Prince Caspian.
 
I just love this place. What I like is that older and younger members are all staying in one line. Nobody tries to act more wiser or better or whatever. Everybody makes you feel welcome. That's what I like here. You have also different forums. You can always see what a forum is about.

This site has done much more for me than I ever can express in words. It called out to me and I answered...I posted....I got obsessed. :D
 
I love this place, it is my escape from the real world. Everyone is so nice here and no one make you feel out of place. Now I'm very shy as some of you who have read some of my post know. But as time has gone by I feel a lot more comfortable here, maybe someday I feel so comfortable as to start PMing people to be my friend :eek:
 
I don't think I could say how much I love this place and the people here. To me, this is a place where I can just be free in a sense. I'm usually very shy, but here I feel like I'm able to speak up, and talk about what I care about, and that's a great feeling for me. *sigh* I just love you guys. :D
 
Everyone is so nice here, unlike school. I e`s.c*a_p-e from the confusing world and just be random (at least in dufferland.) ^_^ You guys are awesome, don't you forget it.

I love this place, it's so awesome...just like Amz said, its a place where I can be free, in a sense. Nobody really ignores anybody, and nobody can really talk over me...Yeah, they can ignore my posts, but at least its out there now for those who care....
 
I luv this forum!! Once I tried to quit it..cuz i dunno why..but, i could not stay off...and i was like "my last day on TDL" then im like "nvm......im still gonna go on"

You cannot quit...it won't let you. There's a subliminal force behind this forum that calls you back again and again...
 
I agree with prince of the west. This is just so fun to talk about. but i hate it when some people ask me why i like narnia and its wierd..well its not! and prince of the west made a good point u cant just go into like a pub and talk about narnia. But anyway,

Haha, I tried that once. Way back in yesteryear, before I was a mod, I decided I was gonna quit the boards. With the new school year starting I figured it would be a good time to leave the forum. As a good-bye gift, I wrote the Narniafans Tutorial you can find in the introduction section, and sent it to Specter. I was so sad about leaving I typed up my good-bye speech on Word to make sure I got the correct spelling, and that it was the right words, then posted it on the forum. It was a sad day, I think. I never actually checked the responses to my post, since I was leaving forever.

Then I was sorting through my email inbox, and found an email from TDL telling me I had a PM from Rosymole. I felt guilty about not replying, so I came back to answer it. Two hours later, I was addicted again, and less then a month later I was a mod, so now I am stuck here forever.

(The best part was I had already answered the PM, and had actually deleted the PM in question. Good Job not getting addicted, HB!)
 
When WAS this forum founded, and how many members were there at the time? I wonder what the old design of the site looked like....and who is RosyMole?
 
Rosy is one of the mods... haven't seen Rosy for ages... lol, probably she's just around :)

I tried quitting and leaving this forum like HB, one and a half month ago, of course it tears me apart inside. the reason, probably just like eveyrone's reason too. to concentrate on my work coz i felt somehow i became a lil irresponsible and haven't took much attention to everything else. before i posted in the gone and away thread, ive tried not posting for a few weeks, somehow i passed my own "trial and error" and so i said to myself, i can live without visiting dl everyday.
I've deleted narniafans in my bookmarks, i've unsubscribe to newsfeeds. i''ve even deleted all my info's in my profile. no signature, no avatar. That's how serious i am. for a week, i did not peek in to this site. *except when i received a notification of pm :p ) but after that, i didn't visited the DL.
But after a month, and here's the proof, im still here. I may not be around always like before, but Im sticking to the dancing lawn.
