I feel like there was a thread about this, but I couldn't find it. If one exists, feel free to merge.
I actually haven't read The Lightning Thief - other than the first chapter - but I wanted to see if anyone was into it. The author, Rick Riordan, is visiting my school next month. And apparently, there's a movie being made based on it. I know it's probably for kids a little younger than me, but I thought it would be cool to read the book(s) since this is, like, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
And there's a slight chance that I could get my book signed, and, you know, it might be nice to know about the book before I actually get my copy autographed.
So, any Lightning Thief/Rick Riordan fans out there?
